My garage is nothing special but it's what's inside that counts right? https://s3.amazonaws.com/s3.andrewtweber.com/photos/viper-acr/scale/IMG_2014.jpg https://s3.amazonaws.com/s3.andrewtweber.com/photos/viper-acr/scale/IMG_2016.jpg My ACR is 1 of 9 purple ones in the world
Yes, the New Age cabinets are really nice and the value is incredible. The newest version is even better, with soft close doors and drawers!
Oh just the usual...tv area, small kitchen, extra bedroom, theater room, slot car track, Irish pub. Let me try to find the link to my build thread from a couple of years ago. Lots of pics there. Edit: page 32 of the thread has lots of interior pics - http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/silver-subscribed-private-forum-sponsored-yellow-compass-group/380333-help-me-design-build-my-dream-garage.html
So the single post lift is made by AC Lifts and based on my research, it's the most robust lift of this type, which is what you'd want with something with such precarious physics. As such, it's not exactly cheap at $6K. Additionally there is freight cost and also delivery and install which can add up to a few more thousand. Not cheap, but also not your everyday solution. A 4 post is much more economical and useful for fixing cars, but at the expense of floor space. Since I already have a 4 post, and didn't want another 4 posts in the way of me moving around the garage, this single post was perfect for my needs. There are other single posts that are roughly half the cost, but they did not appear as strongly built, plus the dimensions of those did not fit my limited space.
Thanks, Ronnie, Chris. Heres a full photo of the car. The workshop is working area, as I have a handful of old cars, which need looking after. The floor looks clean I think principally because it is white, which is easier to keep looking clean, in my experience. Image Unavailable, Please Login
No, not a Lister Bell, clex2, but a 1976 Stratos. I’ve had it for 30 years now. I bought it when one couldn't give them away. Here’s the rear section. I didn't know about Lister-Bell, actually, and had to Google it. That's an interesting Mondial-based replica! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks, Andrew. The Stratos was and probably remains generally unknown to most enthusiasts, particularly in the U.S. Mine is 40 years old now. Andy Image Unavailable, Please Login
I've always been a fan of the Stratos too! Too many Americans don't realize what all very cool cars are never brought to the US shores... :-(
