By far and away the best car I've ever driven is the 1M. I have a FBO '12 135i DCT that I daily and track at least once a month and I have no plans to ever get rid of it. Welcome to the 1er club, are you on 1Addicts?
A wonderful daily drive but the black alloys are kerb magnets and show up the bare metal below once scuffed, just had the front silver kidney grille replaced with the full black M performance part version which really complements the colour of the rest of the car Image Unavailable, Please Login
My bud won his class at Pebble Beach this year for the 100th Anniversary of BMW! That's him on the left, and his 1937 328 front & center!! Image Unavailable, Please Login
does anyone have any updates on M4 GTS driving experiences now that they are starting to be delivered in the USA? I dont want any more magazine reviews by ex-racing pilots that have way more talent than me, but looking for some realworld drivers. I have an arrival set for September 20.
Can I join here? Craigslist find, 2000 4.4i with 68k miles cream puff, my now daily driver heading into its first rough winter (first snow of the season was today). It's been with an elderly couple in the east Bay Area since new. I already scored a set of staggered 20" oem 4.6is wheels - but they are summer only, the 18" hacks on there are taller better in the snow. I'm nearing my first 1,000 miles with it and really enjoying it, just pray daily nothing breaks Image Unavailable, Please Login
This is not my car, but a photoshop showing what my car will look like with its 'fly' summer shoes on. They are at the powdercoater right now. I'm staying nice bright silver...darker colors get lost under those wheels wells. Image Unavailable, Please Login
i am looking at buying a 2008 X5 next week with only 30k miles, 2 owner. it has the 3.0 engine, so I am guessing its the same engine as my X3, 3.0? i will check the engine tomorrow to see if its the same I6. Which means it must be horribly sluggish and underpowered. I can deal with that... How about the I-drive? Should I run away.Current owner just doesnt like it, but says it runs very well. Any thoughts? Otherwise, Im thinking of spending $11k more for a 2013 X5 for a DD.
Leeber, the N52 is a great motor, but only around 268hp, it's reliable, not fantastic for that beast. As for the navi, go with: BMW rear view camera, backup camera, video interface - ModMyNav I got the backup camera for my E60, it works great.
