Hi, live in Manhattan so LI and NJ are equally inconvenient for me... Had my Maser serviced at LI and was happy overall but only had car for a few months. Now in a Ferrari and want to establish permanent relationship NJ is a bit more on my preferred path, Union/Essex/Hudson counties Any great or bad experiences with NJ dealer service? Anyone can compare to LI? Thanks Jay
I cannot compare NY Vs NJ but can attest to service from Ferrari LI. They have been fantastic for me and my friends and will pick up the car and return it. Flat bed. They will return it washed but I prefer to do this myself so I request that the car not be washed. Never had an issue and have been completely satisfied. Fair price, great communication. Ed is the Service Manager. Great Guy.
I live in Long Island and had my car in Pennsylvania for some time. I used classic coach in New Jersey and am now looking into universal in glen cove. A lot of people I talk to use universal. My next service will be done by them. Eric Forgione
Thanks all. Sounds like FoLI is indeed a great place; I had great experience with Mike there servicing the Maser so will just stick to them. Thanks again
I would consider Auto Elite in Tenafly. Many positive experiences with Vinny here on this site; been using him for 15 very satisfied years...
Another vote for FOLI. Richard always takes care of me. Just got done having them replace the clutch in my 430 and the annual service on my Granturismo. Top notch guys over there. I believe Mike is over at the parts counter now, but any of those guys are great and will take good care of you.
well, to fill out the dealer options, Miller Motorcars in Greenwich is just superior in their service work - both on the customer handling and on the actual hands-on mechanical work. They are, that good. Worth considering for sure. Can Don Pintavalle, their Service Manager. go visit, the shop and the "basement" and you can see their work in process. Generally, they will also have a covered flatbed going into/out of Manhattan several times a day doing pick up and return, and they are very competent at the TLC required to move these cars. Another independent option that's worth the trip is P1 Motorcars in Stamford; Tommy Passalacqua is a legend, knows his **** and is straight up. He will also refuse work and tell you where to go if it's something he thinks he cannot do, or that someone else would do better.
Vinny at Auto Elite is the best and he makes an incredible cup of espresso! He has serviced my Ferrari and now my Maserati! First class all the way!!
vincenzo latino at auto elite tenafly NJ trained in Italy 30 years experience i have sent many friends to him and all very happy .. very nobile person
Universal Autosports in Glen Cove, Pete and Angelo are terrific, honest and super knowledgeable. Serviced my Granturismo and completely sorted out my new ( old ) F430, runs like a beast, mechanics are experts, they prep all the race cars for FOLI. Used FOLI a few times but average ticket there was high, always nervous about getting banged up on a service there. Not so with Universal, work is as needed, and always fairly priced. I think they will flatbed, give them a call.
