Congrats Enjoy in good health
Thanks again to everyone for the comments. I just love how the seats and interior turned out and they are also incredibly comfortable and adjustable with the seat lifter (which my last car did not have). Officially took it from the dealership yesterday and drive it to the golf course, which is a good 45 min drive with one of my good friends. I can't wait to spend more time in the car but I can fully understand why people have been saying they could and do daily drive this car. It has such a refined run and solid feel and with the "bumpy road" setting on while in Race Mode, the car is extremely comfortable. With the top down and windows up and windscreen up on the highway it is easy to carry on a conversation. And the power in all gears is always there.
I specced my spider in Tour de France as well. Even more excited to get it now that Ive seen your beautiful car. You said it has a solid feel but specifically how is the chassis flex over rough roads? I know Ferrari says it has about 95% or same rigidity as the coupe and 23% more than the 458 spider. My 458 spider you could definitely tell it was a lot less rigid than the coupe.
It feels very rigid and is extremely solid and tight, even going over railway tracks. Shockingly. It sounds like an Audi with that low pitched thunk sound with no rattles at all. Very impressive. I came from a 16M so not really a fair comparison there and I never had a 458 Spider. But even compared to my Aston, it feels far better.
