The frame on the vent window is bent (from a break in before I owned). I tried to have it straightened, but that didn't work.
Where can I get a replacement or have someone else try to straighten it?

I sold off a couple spares I had some time ago.

Try Tom Shaughnessy, "shaughnessy" is his user ID here. Betcha he has a couple in his barn somewhere.

Also try T. Rutlands. They're selling an entire door on Ebay, might have just a window frame or two.

Talked to Tom yesterday and he didn't seem to have a black one.

Could it be the bottom post that's bent, and not the frame?

I can't imagine why a good body shop couldn't get the fit right. Might take several hours, but even so, it's just a metal bending job.

Replacement glass can be had, should your body shop crack the original.

I have used their chromed vent frame with success. Some mechanical skills are needed in order to change out the frame without damaging anything. Also check if the hinges are bent and need replacements. There is also a u shaped rubber list that might be damaged or worn.

    Best regards Peter

I think the top post is bent? I think I'll take it apart and try again.

    Hi George,
I tend to agree. Your hinge appears to be pushed/bent slightly rearward, drawing the window assembly aft at the top. The hinge on my car sits more 'forward' and overhangs the door frame a few mm at the top of the hinge. Also, the rubber gasket, as it passes beside my hinge, is tangent to the frame, not pulled away like yours.
As you likely know, these vent windows are infamous for poor fit...contacting at the top while the bottom stands proud. The seemingly asymmetrical geometry between upper and lower hinges and rather hard rubber seals combine to make 'even/uneventful' contact unlikely. (Many have suffered the loss of the latches as they popped off of the glass when attempting to pull the window fully closed.)
I had good results on a friend's Dino when replacing the same hinge as yours with one from Dinoparts.de.
Good luck and keep us posted.
    Cheers,
    Coop

Alberto to the rescue. He is going to make me one. If it like other things I've seen that he's done it should be a good one! Getting a newly made one is probably a better idea than trying to fool with mine anymore.
    I'll keep you posted.
