Okay - so most of us own a Ferrari 365/400/412 but very few have been in the company of 2, 4, or 6 of them all at once! Instead, we are usually "... the only out of the bunch..." with ours and happily so! But, the truth is that the marque itself is very well known and depending on where and when you went, chances are that there were a few Ferraris there that caught your attention, no?

So, I am going to go out on a limb and posting pics of different venues that I have attended in order for those of us in this particular forum to be able to admire and appreciate other models besides our beloved 365/400/412's. I hope you too can post pics that you took at an event you attended (versus pics found online or posted elsewhere) so that everyone else can enjoy them too!

I am going to start this first thread with an impressive and real 1962 GTO, amongst others, at the Pine Elementary Car Show in Hobe Sound (FL) from last year...

Found at perhaps the most amazing Star Cars' Collection in the world, The Dezer Collection in Miami - (one of) the Magnum PI Ferrari 308 as well as (one of) the Miami Vice Daytona Spyder Replicas... I thought I saw the white Testarossa there too, but cannot find the pics!

Danny "The Count" Kustoms' personal TR out of his personal collection at his shop in Las Vegas, although the majority of the cars were American Hot Rods (plus a white Countach) - I'm only posting Ferraris!

Brian Redman, a very well known endurance racer of yesteryear, holds an annual Targa 66 event he co-owns with his son over at our local racetrack, Palm Beach International Raceway. These are pics from last year (2015)'s event where there were 2 GTO's racing at the track - unbelievable!

In 2015, the inaugural Palm Event was held at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, just 5 minutes away. I was honored to have been invited to participate with my 911, but clearly, there was plenty of good company there! And yes, there is a silver 400i in the background that has been discussed here before and was sold last year via eBay belonging to the event's director!

I had no idea I had these many Ferrari pics... I still have quite a bit more, but this post will be it for today. These pics came from the annual Auctions America Collector Car Auction in Fort Lauderdale, always in the spring and its a treat to go. Its one of the very rare occasions that once inside, you can spend as much time as you want with any of the cars there - usually in the several 100's - whether its sitting on them, opening the hood, etc. Its really cool and I always look forward to it every year! These pics are from the 2015 event.

I took this pic at an undisclosed location somewhere in Miami, as I was there for the weekend, in order to inspect this car:

    http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/365-gt4-2-2-400-412/490236-what-does-board-think-about-5-speed.html

I counted 7 TR's parked next to each other, although they had a few more elsewhere! There were several other Ferraris there as well as plenty of other eye candy!

It's actually Mayor Cars in Doral - this is their website:

Wix.com MAYORCARS created by andi1771 based on Motorbike Com!

Despite me showing up with a decent ride, they would not let me take the 400i for a spin as a test drive because the owner of the shop was not present. I know they have a few warehouses and am surprised that their website does not show the types of cars I know they have. I do know they primarily sell cars to the Latin American high end market.

Yes, Otto, they were a nice pair of F-cars.....and the high point of the rainy morning was young Sebastien sitting on your lap in my drivers seat and finding the horn button......the trumpets sang as many times as I have pushed the button myself since I got the car, but I never had a smile as wide as your son had !

I should have snapped THAT photo !

I was doing some charity work nearby Ft. Lauderdale last year when I entered this located a few minutes away... For those that may not have heard about Preston Henn, he's been around car racing for a very long time as the owner of the Swap Shop - one of the world's largest indoor and outdoor flea markets located in South Florida. Within the premises, he houses some of his extensive collection. As you can see, he's got plenty of everything including:

    - Daytona Spyder (never had realized there's maybe, maybe 3 inches of ground clearance from between underneath the exhaust and the road - not practical at all - although not noticeable in these pics)!!!
    - 512 BBi Spyder
    - Enzo FXX
    - Enzo
    - F50
    - 275 GTB/C
    - TR used in Miami Vice
    - F40
    - Schumacher F1 car

Because this thread is meant for Ferraris only (the MC 12 gets a pass), I am not including pics of his 959, 935, or 962 - amongst even additional other makes and models! Boy, if ever needed to adopt a grandson...

Is that really one of only three 1964 Ferrari 275 GTB/C Speciales ever built and the only one with a racing history. If so, some say it may be the most valuable Ferrari out there, 100 Million or so sitting in a flea market?

Although I live less than one hour away from there, it had been a good 7-9 years since I last visited the place because in all honesty, its a bit sketchy. Before having read the article linked above, I knew the car was special and vaguely recall Preston Henn purchasing it in the early 1970's for something like $18K. Because I had this suspicion about being such a rare car (I had previously seen it there in a glass enclosure all by itself, something rarely ever seen outside some of the most prestigious auction houses in the world reserved exclusively for special cars), I then took the following pic as found next to the vehicle in order for me to remember/know what it is.

Despite having finished 3rd overall in Le Mans, I would have reckoned the artist would have also included earning placed 1st in the GT class where it was entered within the drawing above? It does, though, illustrate the punched through hole in the front of the car as mentioned in the article due to cooling issues developed during the 24 hour enduro.
