Tonight was the world premier of the GTC4 in Cernobbio. Ferrari put on a fantastic event at villa erba. Here is a link to a rough phone video I took of Sebastian and Kimi driving the new car into the stage. https://youtu.be/d-OFyixY-ew If someone would like to embed be my guest. I'm lucky I got it on YouTube from my phone! To follow are a few photos I took again from my phone tonight at the event.
Looks great! Thanks for posting. So what was the event like? Did you get to drive the car? Did you get to see it close up? Were the any differences, between GTC4 Lusso and the original FF, could you tell from the event that aren't apparent from the pictures and details they've released so far.
The presentation team on stage Motor shots and the new steering wheel As most likely know the key is identical to the 488 Image Unavailable, Please Login
Steering wheel was pretty nice. A bit more compact. I believe it needs the carbon treatment Image Unavailable, Please Login
This is a "new color" Grigio Ferro Met. Seems to have possibly heavier metal flakes and looks a a shade lighter because of that.
This is a "new color" Grigio Ferro Met. Seems to have possibly heavier metal flakes and looks a a shade lighter because of that. It may look Matt due to the photo but it is a gloss finish. Image Unavailable, Please Login
This was not an actual car rather a rolling chassis with body panels Bolted on. It was a fit car as described. None the less it was in a pretty cool setting Image Unavailable, Please Login
In the other thread Someone asked about the trunk space. So I went and took this photo. I'd say nearly identical to the FF Just flip your computer over. Or go look at your FF. It's the same thing Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hey guys, it was nice to meet some of you tonight! The car is amazing... Photos are unfair to this car, exterior is beautiful and elegant but in a sporty way. Interior is next generation, beyond anything Ferrari has today, up to speed with top german brands. Thank you Ferrari, the event was a success!
The back is hard to photograph. It doesn't look as good in photos as in person. It's pretty cool actually in the flesh. Image Unavailable, Please Login
My imoression is that Ferrari nailed it. I have some angles on the FF that do not please me. The GTC4 (as its already been shorted to in reference by Ferrari) eliminated all of the lines and angels that I do not like on the FF. I can say that tonight there was not one person I spoke with that did not like what they saw. Ferrari took a lot of money from customers pockets tonight. Mine included.
The new rear design is aggressive and the lights are very interesting.. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hey Mark The event was first class. First a keynot style discussion about the refinements and changes. Then some dancing, ballerina orchestra action leading up to kimi and Sebastian driving the car onstage. We then got to look at the 3 cars ahold drinks were served. After a bit of that we headed into the main villa for a 3 course sit down meal that was fantastic. From there we went back to the convention hall that was now transformed into an open bar-lounge with searing, desert tables and again the cars to view. Due to the newness of the cars which I imagine to still be in some form of development (and the alcohol) no drives were even discussed. It was a first class event and absolutely no cost was spared.
