    Nice video!

btw., today reading the catalogue of the 0674 that Artcurial made, i have some questions. The car, after the Grand Prix of Venezuela, was brought back to Maranello by Ferrari and the engine was changed for the Tipo 141 of the 335S. But, the original engine after the Mille Miglia 57, and before Le Mans, was updated to 4.1 litre, so why would they change the original one that was already updated, for a new one?

Also, my question is, although Bardinon had/has the pontoon fenders front, and was restored with the original front, the rest of the car, is original or rebodied?

    Best,

    N.

Spotted this morning by a guy in Paris, Avenue Montaigne (source is a Facebook spotting Group). As a Maserati Enthusiast I absolutely hate this car. :D
Jokes apart, truly amazing car and a piece of history.

I missed the online sale/ no sale - did it sell at €28M or did it not meet reserve?

Surprising...a bit of a deal (if you can call €28M + premium a deal).

Thank you for posting the photo!

Well this car is worth more than most if not all Ferrari race cars as it was so advanced for it's time, and it did help win another championship against very good competition. Maybe even better than the Ferrari/Ford 1960's dual as the Ferrari 315/335's were more advanced for there time than the Ferrari P3/P4. Very important car, but no Ferrari is worth €28M(in fact no car is worth that much) :)

What goes up must come down, sooner or later.

not a record in dollars today if my exchange rate is correct as the euro to dollar ratio has dropped a lot since 2014, when the last record in euro was set at $28.5m euro

Congratulations to the buyer...wonderful car to have in any collection, whatever the price.

Personal feeling... Paris auction was way too long (6 hours +) and frenchly disorganized.

Here are a few photos of buyers (some i took myself and others come from french TV program broadcasted on sunday morning 07/02/2015)...seems its the guy on the phone with Max Girardo (MD of RM Auctions) who took it.

Max was accompanied by two young guys, one on the phone with dark blue vest/white shirt/holding artcurial brochure (buyer's son?) and one in green jumper (just a colleague?). According to someone close to them, the first young man sounded american.

Any ideas on who got the beauty?
