    In the garage area I used a GoPro hero 3 Black attached to a gimbal for stabilization and mounted that to a grip to hold in my hand.
    If you look close you can see my shadow holding the camera in some of the shots.

    For the video of the on track action I used the same camera I took the pictures with which is a Canon 7D and I was using the Canon 70-200 2.8 lens hand held.

    I had planned on doing the track video on Friday but decided I wouldn't return because of the rain so I just switched to video mode on the camera and got what I could at the end of the day. The camera is very hard to hold steady by hand but I didn't want to waste time walking back to my car to get my monopod and just went with it. The camera also doesn't have autofocus in video mode which also makes things difficult. Shooting video like this with the Canon 7D is a real pain to get something decent. Someday I hope to get a decent video camera. :)

    I am going to visit Retromobile show in Paris tomorrow, I know I will see these kind of icons...
    While watching your video I was thinking how funny it is to feel exactly the same than 30 years ago when I was a child...
    But now I've got a steering wheel with a little horse on it! :)

    THANK you for posting these great pictures .. I was there but not being anywhere near the photographer that you are I am glad you posted these . THis was really a wonderful day a shame friday turned out to be so nasty...with all the rain..

    Excellent photos of some really great pieces of rolling art ! Excellent composition, position, depth of field and shutter speed to create your own art ! Well Done Bill !!!
    The video was also very well done and gave us all a wonderful feeling watching and listening to these rare pieces of Ferrari history ! Thank you Bill for taking and sharing your photographic art with us !

    Not for a moment did I think they would pull the covers off let alone drive in the rain. The pictures I would've got had I'd been there. :eek:

    Any body able to put together a list of the cars that were there? Seems it would be impressive with multiple GTO's and Testa Rossa's. Did they let the GT40 come out and play?
