Well as I took the center console apart I couldn't find the disconnect for the mirror control. This did not work at all so I took out the little screws on the back and it all came apart. I bagged the parts and thought I would mess with that later. Well I got to messing with it tonight and figured out why it did not work. A little peice was broken of a small plastic arm that moved the switch from left to right mirror. This was stuck in the middle as the area that moved it was broken off. So I had a genius idea. I went to my 9 year old sons room and started going through his thousands of Legos. I found a peice that is a control arm for a Lego toy it is actually a lever for a Lego truck. Ahhhh haaaa that will work. I drilled a hole in the peice where the arm was missing then I super glued the arm in the hole. I got all this some how back together and GUESS what????????

It works it works somehow it works

this peice is what turns to move from left to right and was missing the arm that I made out of a Lego. I put the arm in the hole I drilled you can see here

And what did your son say about stealing one of his lego pieces? Kinda reminds of the commericals for Halos, you will pay.

Lol my son has no idea as he was not here at the time I raided the Lego box. He has thousands of them so he won't miss one little peice.

    .

If you are using an Android phone,
    you can download the Camera360.
This app allows you to focus by a tap on the screen,
and at the same time snap the photo.

I know its been a while since this post, but hoping you might remember. My mirror switch has broken as well. Hoping to glue it back together. Note the plastic piece with the threads that the metal ring screws down to has broken from the main body. Thinking I can crazy glue this.

However, how do I disconnect the switch to select the side from the threads?
