Happy new year to all and a big thank you to Howard (squidmark) for sorting the 365 out for the past 16 months and returning it to me today. First drive in ages, it poured but I was smiling from ear to ear. Thanks H, you're one in a million Image Unavailable, Please Login
Very nice looking car !!! Happy 365 days (+1) in the next 12 cylinders... ohps, months ☺☺☺ Inviato dal mio SM-N910F utilizzando Tapatalk
As always with these cars there are still loads of small jobs to do like fix the drivers door lock and free of a seized heater cable but the biggest is to replace the front screen which is cloudy in the driver side corner - it looks like reflection but sadly it isn't. and the rear panel needs to be blacked - I forgot to do this after the car was painted which was a bit silly really. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I've had my front windscreen replaced twice in 2 years. Pilkington recommend the nearest fitter . I think 600 ish quid for the job
It's funny how it goes. The 365 comes back just as the 400 auto gearbox goes on the fritz. At least one is on the road at any one time - which I better than none !
I can't take any credit for the car being on the road again - Howard used his magic wand and sorted out most of the bits and bobs that have prevented this. One of the nicest, most helpful and knowledgeable guys you'll ever meet (don't blush Howard - it's true !) We've still got a way to go and one particularly annoying idle problem to overcome but I doubt I'll ever sell the car so there's plenty of time (hopefully anyway).
Unfair comment. My 400 auto is a joy to drive - it's different, not worse. They're all beautiful but the auto has a unique place in Ferrari history - very few cars can claim such significant status.
Look closer Otto - it's Blue Ortis. That said, I have a tin of black emulsion so I'll give it a quick colour change tomorrow. 😆
Half yer luck,Russell. I MAY get to drive mine...................................................................... sometime this year
