Facebook event: https://www.facebook.com/events/1506179376347699 Saturday, November 7, 2015 12:00 pm - arrive at Tony Luke's Cheesesteaks 39 East Oregon Avenue Philadelphia, PA 19148 This is our second annual FALL Cheesesteak Run! We will be cruising up from VA & MD, but If you live in the PA, NJ, DE, NY etc area and don't want to join the cruise (or want to set up your own), just meet at Tony Luke's around 12:00 pm. If you organize any of your own cruises, please let me know and I will spread the word. All makes & models welcome! Tony Lukes Cheesesteaks website: Tony Luke's Cheesesteaks - The Real Taste of South Philly Parking - the best place to park is the large parking across from Tony Lukes, under I-95. There are at least a few hundred parking spaces so parking will not be an issue. There is also a small parking lot directly next to Tony Lukes for about 20 cars.
Could we get a contingent to meet in NJ? I'm in Monmouth County - not sure I can make this given my soccer commitments, but would love the option to do it!
Bump for this Saturday! For those interested in a caravan from the north: https://www.facebook.com/events/111360559225965
It was a good event. I'd guess we had between 300-350 cars at Tony Luke's. Here are my pictures, a combination of DSLR and iPhone. https://www.flickr.com/photos/chriswalshphotography/albums/72157661043083885
Thanks. The reason I asked because someone tried to recruit me for this run stating there was $300 donation supposedly for a charity, to rallye down with other exotics. Nice pics! I'll try next year.
Last year we had a 360 Modena and the year before we had an F430. This year had a few exotics - a couple Porsche turbos, a couple R8s, UGR Gallardo, a couple RS7s. Never know what you're gonna get. The rain could have kept the horses in the stable, or it could have been other factors. Either way, it was a nice turnout.
