If the 991 GT3 & GT3RS are indeed the end of the NA motors (I guess this would also include the GT4) what engine(s) will likely replace them?
At the latest Rennsport Reunion Andreas Preuninger said the GT3 variants will remain NA for the foreseeable future. Lets hope so!
A very beautiful and rare Ruby Red 997.2 RS. http://i1205.photobucket.com/albums/bb432/ilko44/9E4B1C58-F164-4438-8C06-2B7E5DBFF029_zpswcneub3t.jpg
I posted this car earlier, as images in the basement garage @ Porsche Ag, a very valuable PTS 3.8 RS Image Unavailable, Please Login
Out of interest??? What is the general view of the 997 GT2 RS? Do people crawl over broken glass for one like a 997.2 4.0 RS?
They walk over hot coals as well! Its the last manual gearbox RS, built in a limited edition series, it truly is an end of-an-era car, very special.
Not RS but Stealth GT3? From the article: One of the most important defining features of a GT3 Porsche is the large wing at the back. But there is a new trend going on in which the owner opt for deleting that wing, turning their Porsche 991 GT3 into something that can only be described as a Carrera with a bad genetic mutation. 10 Photos and article - Porsche 991 GT3 with no wing . Like this? "The removal of down-force is not recommended, the wing is a functional part of the car's stability & safety." Ducktail for daily commute speeds below 120mph. Stock lid & wing for track & 120+mph drives, four bolts on/off. Image Unavailable, Please Login

The notion that the wing does not come into play till 120 mph is false. Other than for cruising around at boulevard speeds under 60 mph, I'd suggest that removal of the rear wing is dangerous to both the user of the GT3 RS and other road users. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Easy fellas, I was being facetious. I assure you I can't go much over 75 mph on my metro Boston commute, everyone is safe!
I think we can be forgiven for simply taking your post literally. Back on topic: Gorgeous PTS Riviera Blue 4.0 RS Image Unavailable, Please Login
Gorgeous indeed. A beautiful 4.0 RS in Spa during this year's Modena Trackdays. http://i1003.photobucket.com/albums/af153/Gregory_058/IMG_0327_zpsdeviwyh8.jpg Not a garage queen!
