It had a "collision" and the engine popped out? Looks more like an aborted carbeque repair with a fried bonnet and rear window...
New lot #... https://www.iaai.com/Vehicles/VehicleDetails.aspx?auctionID=15098217&itemID=16215092 I just noticed they have an "I buy fast" (akin to ebay's "buy it now") price of $19K on this monstrosity! If they drop the "1" they might find a fool, err buyer.
Yes the body kit and wheels really suit the car and brings it firmly into 2010, shame the engine is missing it's a real steal at that price....
You"ll get a warm welcome at the local tuning (polyester spaceship) club. Membershipcard for the local Ferrari chapter wil be void.
I can't get the link to work and see the car before. Any one have an idea what I am doing wrong. It says data not available. I would love to see the car on the insurance site
I do not see it anywhere on FeeBay. I found this white coupe, LHD. 1993 Ferrari Mondial 3.4 T Coupe 55k Miles LHD | eBay How can this be a 93 coupe?? Or only 89 coupes came here??
Howie there were only 43 T Coupes originally sent to the US Between 1989 and 1993 Ferrari produced 858 coupés and 1,017 cabriolets
. IIRC... FCA only sold t coupés in the 1989 model year. All the other t coupés in North America are imported privately. .
Yes. I have a letter from Ferrari North America (or whatever it was called back then) that came with my cars paperwork confirming the U.S. allotment of 43. I am pretty sure it has been posted here before. For some reason, Ferrari decided that the North Americans preferred cabriolets. Or it could have had to do with the higher profit margin of the cabs (about $20k higher MSRP). Or perhaps with only 43 coupes available, sales were a bit sluggish so they did not want to upgrade the passive restraints (89 coupe and cab had the passive belts, 90+ had the active mice seatbelts and passive knee bolsters).
