I'm going to be a picky a:censored:hole here so forgive Me, but it looks like the front trunk lid needs adjusting height-wise at it's leading edge.
Phill, when Josh acquired his 348 Serie Speciale it needing a lot of TLC. Search his recent "For Sale" thread and you'll read all about it.
Indeed it did.. and your right, that does need a little tweak in the front, but that has been the least of my concerns with both time and cost. I had to make sure that I had enough cheese to to the "had to right now stuff" like the 30K service and other misc things. The little cosmetic things will come in time. ...I have been as active and interested in selling my car as the government is active and interested in lowering my taxes!
Sadly, no lunch runs today-- I was looking forward to cruising around with my wife and a 997 tt buddy. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I really want a symmetrical front bumper like yours with the two air inlets. Anyone know where a guy could pick one up? I've seem a few cars with them. It's the one thing I really don't like about the 348 front end look. I hate asymmetry.
Not quite today, but from this month. With the Alfa, my fabulous friend Bonnie Morrison's Alfa Alonzo. She loved her friends, and no one, NO ONE, did more car events or loved cars more than she did. RIP too young... Next more Mountain Air pictures Mountain Air Pilots Association and finally the first Concours at the Biltmore Drove several hundred miles in the 100 degree heat, getting too old for this. Yes, suspension set up as raced at Sebring during the 348 Challenge, no air conditioner, roll cage, etc. My friend appropriate called it the yellow oven. Oh, and that damn loud Ferrari Challenge pipe. The one that looks like the Cherry Bomb. God it sounds good although it is not as loud as it was in 2004. Your first picture highlights just how photographs can distort things. The 348 and the 355 are basically identical in size, but in your first picture the 348 looks to be half as big again as the 355! (Fabulous looking car BTW! )
That car sounds absolutely abusive to drive. So, in the spirit of camaraderie seen so often here on F-Chat, I'd like to help you out. I'll swap you my lovely low mile air conditioned (hidden fuse just replaced!) TS for that uncivilized monster you have. Doesn't that sound extremely fair and generous of me?
It could have been worse! - I could have queried if the 355 was in reality an incredibly well made replica based on a MK2 Toyota MR2 and the owner hadn't realised until this picture was taken! The size of the 355 in comparison to the 348 looks to be about right for a MR2!
Jeff, looks like your major is wrapping up. I guess you'll be back on the road soon. Mine will be done while I'm on vacation so I won't have her back until 8/5. That will be like 3.5 weeks. Damn I miss having her in the garage!
I'll get you a membership. Hey, I had to try. 348 Challenge cars are pure awesomeness to drive. I'd love to own one.
