We are starting to get into classic cars more and more. What helps make some cars more valuable than others? What do people look for when buying them?

They look for matching numbers (Chassis, engine, gearbox, rear axle), originality, authenticity, continuous history without any gaps, proper documentation and paperwork.
    No stories, no red flags.

I sent you a PM about getting information for a car late last week. If you could please let me know what you need from me. Any help would be greatly appreciated....
Believe me I have a pretty decent idea of what I am doing but it is nice to hear from people who actually own a car.........

When I read the title it made me think of the 89 history lesson on Daytonas. I love them but going to wait 3 years and see and in the mean time pay the home off

Daytona coupes fell from the mid $400's to just under $100, then stayed under $200 for years.

Still it is actual one of the best road Ferrari to drive (fast) on open road.
And the only car I actually regretted selling until I bought a Competition one... And with 480hp it's even better , so long your neighbour don't call the police, but actually it is street legal! But better with ear plugs!

I agree, they are fantastic roadcars. Many long time Ferrari(Enzo era) owners consider it the best.

I guess the lesson is the old adage, "buy low, sell high" -
