What do we know about "MORE CARS COMING SOON..." in the Pinnacle Portfolio?
To host the video here, it has to be under 488.3 KB, which is tiny. Otherwise, you have to have it hosted elsewhere and and post a link to it here.
Actually I tried to upload it today but did not manage, I guess it is much bigger as around 30 seconds of hillclimb driving! Will check what it takes to put on Vimeo..
You can upload on YT with a private link, too, but I'm not sure if that'll do much good if you share it here later...
Oddly, the hard top on 1307 is different from the one that was on it back in the 60's. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Managed , not without difficulty, to upload on Vimeo. Here is the link, https://vimeo.com/131284683 Hope it works. The password is my username all in small letters. Enjoy it, you will see how cars should be enjoyed being driven on real roads, not with anger but with passion. PM
Magnificent to see your 275 driven as you say, with passion. Wonderful scenery, incredible sounds, a true joy to be able to 'come along for the ride'. Thanks for posting this !!!
This was actually 6105 in Tour Auto. I think I drove this car more than the other last 5 owners cumulative ! The only downside was the low ground clearance although we raised the car an inch compared to Le Mans. And still now we hit road bumps with every car, Daytoma comp or this year with Alfa TZ. Road bumps are becoming taller and taller...
Of course- 6105. I had the red mist in my eyes while watching . What a sound. It boggles the mind that someone would have such a treasure and miss out on the real joy of ownership (as stated by Napolis signature phrase). Good for you Bira for making the memories and enjoying what you had. Perhaps a Porsche 953 is the solution for road bumps! PS Enjoyed your vimeo film of Pebble Beach Masers and your trois cent in the awards presentation.
Post #19 re 250 LM #6105: Current owner (and consignor) did NOT pay USD$ 18.5 M in 2014. It was less than UDS$ 11 M (eleven). And that was in December 2012, not 2014. Marcel Massini
The last 250 LM sale was at USD$ 17.5 M, that was a private deal, NOT at an auction. That was less than one year ago and it was a really superb car. I'd guess that 6105 will make somewhere between 18 and 22 M USD$ this August. It's about time that a proper 250 LM reaches that level, considering that (some) 250 GT SWB California Spiders make USD$ 18 M, 250 TR's are between 30 and 40 M USD$ and all 250 GTO's much more. Thank you Marcel. This is why barchetta is not too trustful. According to barchetta.cc: 12/dec - ................... 14/aug - ......., US 18,5mio Best, N.
