F1 Revenue Accelerates Past FIFA's To $16.2 Billion - Forbes
F1 set to face imminent EU Commission investigation // F1 News // James Allen on F1 ? The official James Allen website on F1
If the smaller teams actions result in an EU investigation into F1, cause big changes to be made to F1, and cause problems for the big teams then My advice to them would be to start learning how to build F1 engines right away because I can't see the big teams wanting to reward them by providing engines any more! If ever there was a case of cutting your nose off to spite your face!
Don't the rules mandate engine makers supplying a certain number of independents? Think this has anything to do with the sudden interest in "franchise" teams among the big four?
Well, it's not like they have any forceable chance of actually winning anyway right? So why not shake things up and see what happens?
Made be slick Willie has giving money to Bernie does anyone know of a time that Bernie has ever gave money away
Please explain your stance on the NFL, NBA, MLB? We know all about this, I followed dirt late model racing in the midwest, and there were soo many sanctioning bodies that had different rules, even ever so slight, that made it hard to compete across different series AND be competitive. One allowed aluminum blocks, another did not, one had a spec tire, another had a different spec tire, one allowed you to run alcohol, one did not, one allowed a 12" spoiler, one allowed 8", one 6", one had a minimum weight limit of one weight, another would be 50 lbs plus, another 50 lbs less, maybe a small deal to you, but just a PITA to deal with, and there were dozens of little rules that added up to one big PITA, so guys simply quite racing. I knew about 90% of the drivers in a 500 mile radius, and I know that 95% of them are no longer racing, mostly because they just got tired of dealing with the issues, it took almost all the fun out of it. And the sadder part? Most of those goofy sanctioning bodies are long gone now, and now the tracks are left with a miniscule car count and few people in the grandstands.
