Decided to list my 2005 DB9, I have had it for 6 years, time to move on to a newer one, Upgraded to the OEM Aston Martin Sport Pack wheels, leather in great shape, new tires (500 miles ago), clear bra on front, hood (bikini ) and mirrors... awesome shape, never a problem, regular fluid changes. Purchsed from Aston Martin dealer in Denver... Silver/black 33k miles Clean carfax, VIN is SCFAD01A15GA00835 I'm looking at getting $54,900.

I agree, It amazes me how these things depreciate, such an amazing, exotic look, and everyone still thinks its a $200,000 car.... When I tell some people its worth less than $60k, they almost fall over.

Way impressive buy. Absolutely inconceivable. A DB9 for less than a new BMW 3 series.

Good luck with your sale. I just sold my 2009 DB9 same color as yours with about 23K miles. I did it on consignment at an Aston Martin dealership. I would recommend going that route if you have difficulty moving it on your own. It's amazing to me how these cars depreciate. Beautiful timeless hand built styling. Again GLWS.

Great looking car. You mentioned your son....do you have any experience using the back seats for small kids? I have a one and a four year old, so have been casually shopping for something sporty and fun but with back seats. I know the rear of the DB9 is tight, but is it tight to the point of being useless even for SMALL kids?

In my opinion Aston has had the best looking lineup of any exotic automaker in the last decade or so. They're so under appreciated though...I'll see one in a parking lot and pull in to snap pics, and unfortunately nary a passerby will even notice the car. GLWS!

I had a 2005 DB9 and found the backseat to be more of a parcel shelf or a place for your bags. No real leg room but others may disagree.

Let me tell you a funny story, way back when, I was driving a Porsche 944 and was asked to take a friend's sister to a wedding, already had a date to take so I responded "she'll fit fine in the back seat as long as she has no legs", the friend said...."well, she DOES only have 1 !"...She is still my friend today and her sister due to being a Thalidomide baby only has one leg....she got in the back seat that day, took her one prosthetic leg off and rode in the back seat to the wedding......we still talk about that to this day.

The Aston back seats are a lot like the Porsche 944 With no one in the passenger seat, the back seat on that side would be fine !!!

My son is now almost 17, and loves driving it !

my little bro used to sit in the back seat of our DB7 all the time up until he was about 9....was a super tight fit but not too bad...in fact we even took a 300 mile road trip with him in back...he wasn't terribly happy but it worked....haven't had a chance to smush anyone into the back of our DB9 yet but I think it would be totally fine, especially with the passenger seat a bit forward...

That's the idea...understated elegance. You either fly under the radar, or the car folks take notice. And there is always the "Bond" connection. I play that up myself...having 007 plates on the DB7 and the 9. (also have 550 on the 550 just in case someone can figure that out) :)

I will have to say that no one ever turns up their nose at an Aston in the way that they might for some other brands...they are unique in that way...
