    Hello FC

I have been in the 348/355 section for some years, but have just added a 360 Modena - 3-pedal to the garage.

I already love it, and all in all it seems as a decent car.

Just picked it up yesterday, and now the work with getting the car in great condition starts.

Last service was in 2011 - so fresh oil is needed!

Any recommandations of Redline to the manual gearbox?

    Faults fund so far:

    * Only 1 key and it is not with the red fob... :-(
    * Backlight in instrument cluster has gone - Afraid it is not only the EL-paper, but the power supply aswell.
    * Applying 1. and 2. gear after a full stop is only possible after having selected 3. gear. Gearbox sounds perfect, so fingers crossed for that it is only a bushing at the stick?
    * Ashtray broken, so the spring do not hold the lid in place.
    * Light in the left power window switch has gone - (new or can this be opened for repair?)

Congrats. That is a virtual carbon copy of my car. Except I'm right hand drive and F1.
Yes to Redline in the gearbox. 75W90NS.

As for the one key and fob, do you have the PIN number for the car? Not the radio PIN number, but the PIN for the immobilizer?

Congrats, may all your new car issues be small!
I am really liking the small shields on your car!
Wood floor garage with windows is fantastic.

The shifter bushing (at the stick end) is easy enough to replace and may help you.

    Aloha

Ouch hasn't had an oil change in 4 years? You sir are a brave soul for buying her. Hopefully you got a deal on it because it sounds like she will need some work.

Regarding your Pin for the immobilizer, the ferrari dealership that had initially sold the car should have it in their records.

Thank you all for the great feedback.

Unfourtunally I do not have the PIN-code, but I know the name of the original dealer who sold the car i Germany. I will try and contact them to hear if they can help.

Changed the engine oil yesterday - now waiting for o-ring for the gearbox filter to arrive and then I will have this changed.

To make an gearbox oil change - Is it nessesary to remove the bumper or is it possible (I can live with difficult) without removing this?

Love the black 360's as the rear mesh cover blends in nicely.
The smaller shields look great IMO - not too out there but nice accent.
    Cheers,
    Greg

Some have drilled a hole in the rear bumper and used a rubber plug to facilitate the removal of the filter. The problem is you can get it free.. but to completely remove it from the hole isn't possible because the distance from the bumper to the transmission is smaller than the length of the transmission filter length.

Carefully inspect both transmission fluid and coolant for cross contamination as, from what one of our top mechanics here said, the transmission heat exchanger is most likely to fail on cars that have not had frequent coolant flushes and transmission oil changes..

Nice car! Its easy to take of the rearbumper to clean the meshfilter. look after coolant in the gearoil, and change the oil every year in the future.

Gratulerer med smukk bil!! Det koster ca 2000 dkr å få pinkoden fra Ferrari.

It is bought from germany by Formula Leasing

Min 348 er med fuld DK-afgift - til salg for ca. 550.000 DKK.
Min 360 er leaset ved Formula, da jeg ikke har råd til 2 fuldt afgiftede :-D
