Congrats and welcome!! Be sure to fill in your profile and post up more pics of the car when it arrives. Take care and enjoy in good health.
Well, this past Saturday the car arrived in California. I'd made arrangements with Joe at Concourse Auto to receive and inspect the vehicle. It should be noted that I had been picking Joe's brain (numerous telephone inquiries) regarding a potential (1st) Ferrari purchase for close to a year before he recommended Jerry's (located in North Carolina) 348. Yesterday Joe called to tell me that the car "passed muster" and was ready to pick up. I was very fortunate and thankful that the car was exactly as described, awesome (THANKS JERRY!). Now the fun part, the drive home (aprox 50 miles)..... Wow! At some point (while in 5th gear/open road/full throttle) I thought I heard a soft voice somewhere behind me say, "It's ok, push me, push me". And I did, Wow! many thanks to an honest, trustworthy seller (Jerry) and a helpful, trusted mechanic, I couldn't be happier! Also, the wife drove it as soon as I got home and is as excited as I am. Brian
Congrats on your new toy! I, like you, was a first time F-car buyer (just a few months ago) when I bought my beautiful 355 F1. I followed all the advice and did my own research before pulling the trigger and getting her. As luck would have it, it was owned by a member on THIS forum and all that did was fill my heart with even more joy knowing this car was well taken care of by its previous owner. NOW......The real fun will happen when you take her out for your first drive...the sound!! The Feel!! The fact that you can't believe you are driving a beautiful Ferrari!! PRICELESS!! Oh, and you better get ready for 1,000 questions when you stop for gas. Also the popular "Beautiful Car!!" comment happening at every stop light. Your path to Ferrari heaven has just started. ENJOY!!!
congratz...you'll have a blast with the car....take care, have fun and you'll realise each time as you park and leave the car, you'll turn back at least once to take another look at her!
Brian is enjoying the car. He told me he has already taken it on some twisty canyon roads. Good for him!! He is enjoying it. Shipping the car to California with their strict emission testing is always a challenge. The car passed with flying colors. I am happy with the sale and he is very happy with the car. Both sides being happy after the sale is always the goal and I am pleased it worked out that way.
Congrats both to seller and buyer on a lovely car. I too would have felt very confident buying that 348 TS.
