Very emotional finish. We lost alternator belt for third time 15 minutes before the end and had to run last lap on battery only. We lost over 2 hours in pit and without that would have been much higher. Ran as low as 9th. Alternator issue is already figured out. With a another year's development we'll be much better and we will be back next year. Our customer car will be rebuilt and it and possibly 2 others will be with us in 16.

Car has huge potential and Bosch and Dunlop have only just begun .

Car finished the N24 yesterday is being road converted and will drive to and enter Villa d'Este next sunday.

Not sure a car has ever done that before.

    Great adventure, Mr. G.

    Well done!
The streaming feed was easy enough, despite the radiolemans.com feed not being sync'd.

I'd like to see the interviews, if anyone has them with audio.
    Enjoy Villa de Este!

If you purchased the book of Jim's car, they pledged to have your name on it, for the N24 race...

Here's the pictures, I love Sal's expression as they interrupt his weekend.

    +1.

The nightime feed I was watching only had the Pit Road camera on, thru the night.

I was having trouble using an iPhone as a hot spot, so at that point caught some rest for the next morning (here) to see the finish!

Awesome job SCG, can't wait for next year. Would be epic if you could race with up to 4 cars. The speed looked really good, without the problems and time penalties it would have been a Top10 finish surely. Although judging from laptimes you were a bit behind the leading Audis and BMWs in ultimate pace, maybe 10s a lap. But I am sure you guys will find that time till next year :).

It will be interesting to see how this whole GT3 class / speedlimit zone thing will be handeled for next year. To be honest it worked better than expected.

I am desperatly looking for the scene where the pit crew pushes the car to start it for the last lap (with audio). So far I can only find the ADAC Stream which missed the scene because of an interview... The official feed/stream had it in full with everybody clapping in the pit lane and you could even hear the crowd cheering if I am not mistaken ;-)! They even showed a replay of the Audi box with everything applauding... Such an awesome scene and showing what endurance racing is all about.

The ADAC stream did show it, pushing and starting, but the commentary would have been in German...they showed it as a replay, a few seconds after the car rejoined in the race.

Myself and a couple other Fchatters were there. It's an amazing place and race. If you can get something together, I highly encourage it!

As the photos show, Alan Ruud's car has been restored from last year's incident.

Jim still has his....the plans all along were to try to sell TWO more......

I am answering as his father passed away last weekend, at 102.
Services are pending, I would imagine this weekend, in upstate New York.

    RIP Seth Glickenhaus, 102.
At the office the day he passed away, peacefully in his sleep.

Thoughts and prayers for the Glickenhaus family.

It's the whole series, leading UP to the 24 hour event.

I still have the link loaded on the computer from the old posts......
