    Not to my taste, but....
An indication that a guy really loved his car. so possibly also maintained better.
    Reversable.
Maybe exactly what somebody else likes. Like art???

Why? Its theirs, seen more than one car with Red painted bits. Too much for me. I don't like it but whatever.

Whats the take on he plenum? I always thought it was molded in black and the only paint on it was the silver lines on the top side..

Now if one wanted to get it back to black, seems it would have to be painted black to restore it and thats not what you have on a stock car.

But please correct me if I am wrong but its molded in black. Not painted black.

    Cr*p, that is TERRIBLE.

And I too suspect that painting in black wouldn't be properly stock.

Although it might be an indication of a fastidious owner, I'd turn and run!

    I don't recall ever seeing two-tone seats before on a 355.

No warning! I was going to look the second time but couldn't find my sunglasses.
Jokes a side, it's his car. I'm happy he did as he wanted.

I like to think mine is a little more tasteful.

Some red and the rest is carbon dipped with a matte clear coat.

    Very happy with it.

To each his own....but I would have left some of the engine bay black if I had a two tone interior.

I think the black really contrasts well with the red. I have the same car (less DIY red) and put the challenge grill on it. Everyone I have asked (non Fcar owners) like the black grill better.

What would be impressive is if Cummins could get a manufacturer to supply them with an orange serpentine belt!

Anyone remember the Pirelli ad in the 1980's with yellow tires on a 944 turbo? Red tires on that 355 would be a nice touch :)

I like the look of my challenge grill also. I sold my stock grill to a guy that bought a car with a challenge grill and wants to go back. I have seen pictures of cars with the challenge grill painted the same color of the car and I liked that also

    Would you recommend dipping?
    Any close up pics?

Just a hair too much red. I would have ditched the resonator, and wouldn't have painted the maf, not sure about the side covers. But I think it looks okay otherwise.

Then again, this is what my lump looks like. :D
