correct no bumper removal, there is a cunning plan underway to make everyone very happy over their SCUD/16M exhaust tips
THAT would be the best option Slickhillsy! You could as well have them ceramic-coated ( HNCF-NANOCERAMIC ) I usually spend €400/€700 to have each of my competition guns ceramic coated, and treating a weapon is way more expensive than coating a relatively simple piece of metal that won't bear the brunt of heavy stresses like a weapon or an engine do,hence several steps to obtain the required thickness! That said, phosphating or ceramic-coating will give you a whole array of colors to choose from to boot! Here's one of my gun coated in black..the barrel's TiN-coated! the thing is that the titanium versions are longer and optically that extra 2o mm or so makes all the difference, if you coat the existing ones you won't really see it
That's a VERY good point...they're definitely longer and compared to the standard parts they stick out like a forest of sore thumbs! Cheers Manu
Russell, could you for reference measure yours at the top, length from the mesh grill exit point to the end lip point please, so we can compare to OEM stock ?
soon Kline Innovation will be making these in iconel potentially with carbon covers as requested for a much more reasonable price, so no need to blow $1750
Here is their new valved Inconel system that they have built for me, the system weighs just 8 kg Image Unavailable, Please Login
That sure is pretty. 17lbs is insane. Wow. I bet it will sound awesome. Does it make power? : ) Scared to hear the target price hehe. I still need to try the damn tubi I have!
You will probably be positively surprised by what Kline will charge for this, relative to other Inconel systems on the market but if you are interested give felix a shout at [email protected]
Design now finished, 24mm longer than OEM SCUD stock item (non Titanium OEM Option). The Ferrari Titanium option is an estimated 15-20mm longer than the standard OEM SCUD stock. The second picture shows the 2 OEM Ferrari items. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
yes they on sale from today please contact Felix at Kline Innovation for details. I will transparently admit that he did mine at reduced cost as I provided him my OEM ones for the exact computer measurements but I have NO commercial links whatsoever with Kline. Now that a pressing tool has been purchased, I guess he can make them pretty quickly on request. They are made of Inconel
Have you put this on yet? Wondering how it does at track days and the sound restrictions they sometimes impose.
I haven't yet haha. Chance it may happen tomorrow when I change the oil ; ) Sound is not enforced at Pitt race...at least yet. It is posted though.
