Not exactly a replicar, but might be a fun build with my son:

That's cool. I should say, there is probably nicer replicas then I listed, Just going by the ones I've personally seen.

Have another one that is very nice to add to my list. I forgot about it until now. Saw one bombing around my neighborhood a year ago. Had a pic, posted on the Rolls forum and learned what it was.

Bob Petersen Engineering | Custom vintage coachbuilt cars | Devon UK

I want one of these, not the le mans body style blower Bentley, the car I've posted pictures of. These guys are doing something great with boring 50's Bentley's. I deleted the pic of the one I saw. But it was identical.

I know this is the Crappy Replicas thread and that many enthusiasts are not fans of any replicas, but there are a few I like:

One to piss off the Farraristas...

THis would be fun to show the youngsters that Bugatti means more then Veyron...

Some are o.k. Jay Leno has a replica 427 cobra, its not fiberglass and its a very high end version. Believe made in England with the original AC tooling. He also has a Bentley, from the people I linked. If they are good enough Leno, well I guess good enough for me. In general replicas are just plane wrong!

I thought the "GTO" was horrific until I saw the "F40" below it.

You know, if you have Ferrari emblems and letters telling what model it is all over it, people are much more likely to believe it's real. ;)

Joe Alphabet GTO. Made out of a '75 to '78 Datsun 280Z. BIG giveaways, Datsun doors, no wing windows, Datsun rear hatch especially with the rear window louvers. Though these kits could be built to look very real. So much so, that Ferrari sued Alphabet and McBurney to cease making the kits. They are actually quite pricey if you can find one for sale these days. McBurney was famous for his Daytona Spiders constructed on a Corvette chassis. The Black Miami Vice Daytona was a McBurney Daytona Spider.

I actually have a story about this. My best friend in elementary/high school, his Dad had two real AC Cobra's. A 289 and 427. His Dad bought them in the 70's. The Dad was an oral surgeon and didn't need money. When he took either out, he would get nice replica comments from even car guys.

The Ferrari script badge on the rear panel is real. :)

    That's true.

Back in the late-90's, there used to be one running around the Denver area that I would see often, though never got the chance to meet the driver. Even up close, it was a very realistic copy...... and, from a distance back, it was an extremely realistic copy..... fooled a lot of people.

In that there many more replicas than originals it's not surprising.

It was in the 80's. Fewer replicas around. He turned near million dollar offers for both cars. Few could tell. He paid next to nothing for them. Forget how much.

Somehow, every replica ever built on a Corvette. . .

    still looks like a Corvette.

I can kinda see why someone would build a replica and understand why so many turn out poorly but I don't get why they think that anyone else would want to buy their passion project.

In general, I haven't liked anything done in fiberglass, even production cars. Like 70's and 80's Corvettes might as well be replica's.
