http://www.hdrogers.com/europarts.html - H.D. Rogers and Sons brakes, fuel lines and a host of other parts

This company appears to be out of business. No e-mail was possible, and the phone number was not working.

    FYI

Perhaps they should be removed from our resource list?

I was shopping at Harbor Freight and was headed to check out when I walked past the air compressor section and noticed the standard air compressor petcock is what Ferrari used on the front and rear engine block petcock's as well as the radiator petcock. (Items are in parts book TAV 14-26 & TAV 14-30)
    $2.99 each
    http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?itemnumber=95804

The original used a 17mm wrench to install, these above use a ~15mm

The Dino uses the same CV joints and Boots as the 308 which is the same as the 911 Turbo

From our very helpful siblings :
    http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=252327
I also have a '79 308 GTS, and just changed my CV joints. I bought mine from Pelecan Parts, and they were about the nicest people I've ever dealt with. shipment came earlier than I was ready for. http://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/...USaxl_pg1.htm#

    930-332-034-00-M60 // CV Joint, 911 Turbo (1977-84)
    901-332-293-12-M60 //CV Boot, 911 (1974-mid 1975), 911 Turbo (1975-84)

PS: don't freak if the box says 301174, it's the same GKN part

Repro bumpers from English chap in VN
    http://www.groupharrington.com/bumper/frr_dino.asp

    Hello Scott,
Thank you very much for your interest in our products.
We produce both types of bumpers, for the 246 GTS with ‘grabs’ on the front bumpers which curve inside the grille aperture and for the 206 GT that does not have these grabs. Please see pictures below.
Thanks for bringing the matter with our homepage to our attention – of course you are right that the photos are swapped - I will tell our IT department to change the photos as soon as possible.

With regards to the end caps, we do not have the flat ones – our have a recess to allow lights to be installed. However, they do not come with lights. Please find a photo of the end cap at the bottom of this email.

The good news is that we currently have one set of the 246 GTS bumpers in stock - we can make it ready for shipping within a few days. Please let me know if I shall reserve this set for you.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

    Best regards,

    Hi Pascal,

Maranello-Literature in Paris offers pouches frequently, don't know if they have a Dino-one on offer, but have a try: Maranello-Literature.com

John C. and Tom S. had discussed GT Car Parts in Phoenix back in '06...before they had a website. They apparently have one now; I don't recall seeing it on this list.

Just had a Chromodoro rim repainted by Premier Wheel Repairs in Coulsdon Surrey UK and they very helpful and did a very good colour match and finish to the other rims that I'm pretty sure are in their original paint. So I think they are worth considering.

Just picked up a good project car with good bones, fresh and strong motor, needs a little paint and interior love. Intermittent problem getting into reverse. Any advice how to address reverse shifting challenge?

On reverse gear the problem, if simple, is that you are meant to push the stick down so that the sleeve stopping the stick going into reverse can clear a small tab ( like a shark fin) on the selector gate. I used some dry bike lubricant with a straw to direct some grease into the mechanism and worked it up and down.

You will get quicker answers if you oost in the main 246 forum.

If it is a selector fork/ mechanism problem then it may be possible to access therough the access hole but i cant advise you on this.

    Hi All,

I'm working on a car related project and looking to chat with someone who owns either a 206 or a 246 Dino. I'm happy to chat on the phone or you can just reply to the questions below if you prefer. Thank you very much for the help!

How did you get interested in Dinos? Why this car?
What attracted you to it? Prices? Form? Rarity?
How did you go about finding it?
    What services did you use?
Is there a community surrounding this car? Are you a part of it?
Does this community help people buy/ sell cars?
Is there a central clearinghouse for knowledge and advice? (forum, message board, etc.)
Where's your favorite place to take the car / drive to?
Is there anywhere you won't take the car?
How many miles per year do you drive it?
Is it your primary means of transportation?
How many of your friends also have cool cars?
