Good luck getting a proper acceptable non 1/2 point deductible replacement air intake with foam. I have one on back order with Enrique, and patiently waiting for it. Looking forward in seeing both TR & 328GTB on Saturday.
No. I wasn't going to pay what Enrique wanted, so on the advice of Rifledriver (Brian Crall), I got some correct-size heater duct and a hose clamp, and I'll take the point deduction.
My wife and I are down here now, but we are also guests of a couple who winter down here so I don't know about availability on Friday. Who is doing lunch on Saturday at the Concorso? Maybe we can somehow arrange an F Chat table/section. This is my first time there so I don't know the set up.
How many of those here are FCA members? For everyone that is and is attending Cavallino I sure would appreciate it if you would stop by the Penfolds bar at the event. Not sure if Penfolds is at all the events or just at the Jet Aviation party. For those that are not aware, Penfolds is the "Official Winery of the Ferrari Club of America". Tim Irwin is there at the event and he is the signatory of the agreement with the club. It sure would be nice if he heard words of encouragement for his support of the club. Pour me some Grange and I'll talk his ears off! Seriously, though, I will look for him at the Jet Reception and thank him for his support.
Wish I knew what he was pouring. It would save us from opening our own Grange at some point. Some in the trade have told us that Grange less than 20 years old is doing it a disservice. But you won't go wrong if Tim is pouring St. Henri or Bin 389. Jeff
That's a good idea. We can pick a time to meet up, grab a table, and stick a hat on it, or something like that.
Driving over from the West Coast of FL tonight in my light blue 550. Will do the track day Friday and just display (not judged) on Saturday. Let's hope the weather for Saturday holds off. Might be a little wet, unfortunately. Scott
Got ya - have spent many hours in there over the years - I'll see you there Image Unavailable, Please Login
