    replica no.4

the car was planned as the 4th in the series of Eric Koux Atlantic replicas modelled on the basis of the Richard Pope Atlantic chassis no. 57591. The destiny of the chassis replica frame no. 4 is not fully clarified ...

Thanks. I have a question. In the top post, I saw mention of 2 existing originals of this car, but online (think it was supercars.com and elsewhere), mention of a 3rd. I assume one is the Ralph Lauren car, one is in a museum in California (Oxnard?). Is the third the one I read about being involved in a train accident? Is that Atlantic not considered by some (all? many?) as being the real deal, so to speak? Thanks, Aerolithe57, for all the hard work in posting these gorgeous pictures, and for your thoughts. Interesting and gorgeous car…T

I didn't realise this car was a glassfibre body. I assumed it was aluminium.

    57374 now in Oxnard (CA)
    57453 missing
57473 destroyed (there exists a replica)
    57591 the Ralph Lauren car

Thank you for sharing your considerable knowledge on these rare and beautiful cars, which heretofore I knew nothing about. I'm definitely including a trip to Oxnard on my next biz trip to Southern California. Again, thank you...T
