Yeah. The seller could make money teaching many other sellers on how to take picture to sell a car and save lots of time to prospective buyer and theads tearing appart cars for sale.

    This is very nice.

I understand the obsession. I bought my '91 just over a year ago because it was a steal. I have since 'gone to town' on that car; custom Forgeline wheels, rebuilt suspension, fabricated a complete exhaust system (will bring to market this year) and have the entire front end apart at the body shop for respray. Next stop, the engine bay!

It appears that my 79 doesn't have cosmoline on it anymore, maybe I should reapply?

That is an incredible car and amazing car, looks like every fastener and bracket is prefect and never been driven.

    A great buy for someone.

The car has clearly been restored to a concours level, to include the re-application of the cosmoline (with a level of care far beyond what the factory can do). But I have to ask: why the black aftermarket undercoating in the wheel wells?

I looked at the car today and now it is going home to me .. the car is just as nice if not nicer in person...
It has been detailed and serviced very nicely ... and the BBSs are flawless may have to get a set of FUCHs later but for now like it as is....

+1 I really wanted to get to your car just this was a lot easier location wise only a 2 hour drive.. its not a 79 but it is nice for what I want....I like the effort put in the detailing and recent service work etc..

Mighty cool to hear. I've a silver 86 M491 (Turbo body 3.2) that I'm crazy about. Before you buy the Fuchs, just consider looking at some 17" Fuchs replicas. More rubber on the road, better wheelwell fit, easier to find performance tires if/WHEN you wear them down.

The BBS were an awesome period piece, had that exact set on an 87 911 Turbo I owned, were on the invoice (dealer add) so that's the only wheel the car ever had. Nearly OEM!

Either way, enjoy the car, you scored a beautiful one.

I am glad to hear you say the bbs were dealer add on your 87 turbo.. In any case the seller contacted me last night and was able to obtain a restored set of FUCHs for me and now I have both sets ... Car was picked up this am and should be to me in a few days
