Cars.com now has 5 918's all in the USA for sale. All three with stock #'s. These are either in stock or inbound New Porsche 918 Spyder - in 08502 - on Cars.com
these cars are all sold and not available. it simply has to do with the way the porsche inventory system works in terms of why they show up online. i know because some of the cars are going to be delivered to people i know, and i contacted the dealer in minneapolis to check on the blue one
Agree with last post that these cars are likely NOT on the market - at least one (and I believe others) of the cars on this list are "individual" (dealer) purchases that will be held for at least 6 months in order to retain important VIP privileges (priority rights to new models). With a standing order since mid 2013, I was skeptical of sales results, but multiple sources now confirm the car is sold out overall, with either 297 or 300 in the US. Apparently a late surge in demand as test results and LaF (non) allocations became a reality. While some "sales" may fall out, current interested buyers are being offered a space on the waiting list - it appears it is too late for a new order. Agree the LaF is the top of the food chain, but the 918 is pretty cool in person, especially in Weissach trim, where the carbon bits make for a much more exotic presentation.
Ok. This one is now available. Just listed on Dupont Registry. 2015 model in red with black interior. asking $881,575. As I said these were not going to hold value. My experts I got advice from appear to be correct. Gorgeous car and I'm glad I waited to buy one as I see prices coming down another couple hundred grand before stabilizing. Link: 2015 Porsche 918 For Sale - 1024073 - duPont REGISTRY You can probably pick this car up around $800,000 if anyone wants one now. Wait another year or two though for the bottom if you want to treat more as an investment I'm told still
The link you posted shows the car as "not available" and the dealer website does not show the car - guess it must have already traded at "around 800". A dealer friend was just offered a large premium for his car and is waiting due to the value of the VIP program. Agree they made more than they should have and there may be chances to someone else's build at a discount some day, but for now values are holding strong.
So................... As I said five months ago.......... What are the 918s trading at hmmmmmmmmmm...... Anywhere close to msrp............ Nope..........Not a million................. how about a 1.5m or so with some at 1.4 and some at 1.6m and they are sold out!!!! And the car has smoked every other super car in every test. Its the baddest car on the planet right now.......... All I can say is, well I already said it.

The Piëchs own about 8-9 Ferrari cars. Officially they belong to his wife, but he has been seen driving through and around Salzburg, Austria, many times. I have some pictures of some of "her" F-cars, I'll upload if I find them on my iPhone or storage disk. Edit: I found a pic showing some of the F-cars belonging to the Piëchs.
