How does this car look in person?

It looks awfully fake and "flat" rather than fluid...

It looked like it was in nice shape, but it didn't really impress me and I never thought it was real even from a distance. When looking at pictures of real ones in The Google, however, the body shape seems fairly close. The interior didn't look correct when I saw it - most obviously the non-slotted shifter.

Seems like the nose is short and flat, and canted upwards. body sits too high.

This is an interesting car in a way. But it has missed the mark in so many small ways that it just doesn't work IMO.

If I were interested in a repro, and I could be, it would not be this one.

Sold. The seller accepted an offer, so it went for less than $250K. Sounds like a good deal on a 275 GTB/4 engine to me.

A lot is wrong with that car, unfortunately.

And that ain't no 275 GTB/4 motor. But that's only the beginning.

It's a 330 motor. I think what they are saying with the description ("The motor is a 4 liter with 6 Webber 40DCN 17 carbs from a Ferrari 275 GTB 4") is that the carbs are from a 275 GTB 4.

It's difficult to discern whether their description is just poorly chosen words that result in ambiguity or carefully chosen words that cultivate ambiguity.

Thanks for the clarification. It's clearly a 209 Columbo motor.

Saw the car from 50 yards away on the Fwy. and it looked bad.
Saw it standing still, walked around it, and it looked really bad.

Might be a great car to restructure aesthetically, and if done by a true 'master it might turn into a 'silk purse'.

Best wishes to the new owner.

    Regards, Alberto

Ah, well scratch that thought, then.

Yeah, I read it as the whole engine, but just the carbs makes more sense.
