Meh. I like the rearwing treatment, but other than that it isn't that much different from a 'standard' LF. I am sure the true LF XX will be far more awesome than this.

    Yes

The finals start on the 3rd but I would look for the XX closer to the 5/6th

It will be very interesting to see the increase in total downforce and reduction of body roll as these are areas where there is a nice room for improvement. Digressing into details here, but I'm curious if there will be any major gearbox changes/modifcations (a bump up in power is a given).

    Agreed.
That render was just a visual 'tuning' of original LaFerrari pictures.
The appetites for LaF XX has been already even bigger than that. :) Nice widened body has been seen in the latest camouflaged appearance at Fiorano.

Apart from a breathtaking body design there are coming to us more internal changes (mechanical, susp.,electronic systems etc.). Surely there will be much to explore - I like racing set-ups very very much :). Its racing cockpit - another thing to see. And that sound. It will be a beast :D.
Happy to see it coming in the next some days.

Cooling changes were/are being made to the gearbox. But that gearbox is good for much more torque. The wet clutch set up in that transmission is quiet stout.

Much more torque? It's rated to 750nm from Getrag, but I presume some minor work will allow it to reliably handle more.

Right, and the engine alone won't be producing that much torque, now the engine plus the HY-Kers already produce over 664lbsft.

Road going LaFerrari's V12 itself produced max. 700Nm of torque. So it was well within that gearbox spec.
As I've read, the original electric motor supplementing the ICE, was able
to make another 200Nm or more, BUT is driving the differential directly.

And again, surely we can't measure the XX just by its road-going counterpart.
I expect much more than this. Not in the pure additional numbers, but in pure performance :), for sure.

I wish McLaren, Ferrari and Porsche would come together and host a race series managed by them for the P1GTR/LaFXX/918... It would basically be for fun, with a 'gentleman's' agreement on the rules, and could be in addition to the CC series... Would be awesome to watch and a great showcase of the hybrid tech....

Maybe a new class for WEC/Lemans?

Not happening, but perhaps there could be a coming together of LaF XX, P1 GTR, Zonda Revolucion and other track prototypes at one of the ACO's new club events.

Wow that thing looks great. I'm loving the taillights. I can't wait to hear it in action I'm sure it will scream.

I think this or the P1 GTR, either of which in black, will do just fine as the next Batmobile.
