Grand Theft Auto V

I really love online mode, even though I only play by myself. You get all the features of single player and more, the idea of personal cars means I will never be going back to single player. I really don't know why they don't include these things in the single player, having a huge garage and insurance on cars and being able to basically save a car to a location is fantastic.

 

Agreed. I don't know why they didn't open that after completion of the game. I have close to $2 billion for each character in single player and nothing to spend the money on.

All I wanted was the penthouse with 10-car garage... you should be able to get that in single player.

 

Yup, drives me crazy and it's something I've always wanted on GTA. I could never stand how the cars always disappeared. Luckily on the PC version of IV there was a way to save cars, it was great and very similar to how it's done online.

 

I just got the game very recently.......if you do a save while in the middle of a mission, and then shut the unit off, can you resume that mission at a later point?

 

Hell i cant get past the cops at the very beginning without getting killed. Stopped playing it.

 

The latest patch has nerfed all the races so it's making the game more a grind to level. The free DLC gives you 3 free cars only the beach buggy is fun. 1 boat and 2 useless weapons.

 

Had it for PS3 for a while until the PS died.

It's quite a fun game but the story wasn't that great...But I was happy to hear that the story will continue with DLC.

It's been announced for PC for a fall release (and Xbox1 and PS4), hopefully with the new content!

Online was quite fun, even with my **** connection. I only played online for a week and found it hard to make money (due to my internet, it took a LONG time to connect to simple jobs so was mostly stuck doing stupid things).

I literally just bought a cool penthouse/duplex with garage for 10 and the next morning the PS died. Lame.

 

IN case you missed E3, GTA5 has finally been announced for PC,XBOXONE,PS4. No date but around October.

New Not a Hipster Update is out. Quite a few new cars to try out.

The smart car is a lot of fun, gets into a lot of gaps most other cars can't.

GTAV just announced pre-order availability for the PS4, XBOX and PC. More cars, more missions, 30 people for online, etc.

Pre-order is up at Amazon and the other usual outlets.

Considering that this is the only game I play, time for me to pickup a PS4....

Never thought I'd ever preorder a video game but I did just that today. Ordered directly from Rockstar.

 

I've preordered gta v for Xbox one.

Also, arkham knight, forza horizon 2, and Star Wars battlefront.

I'm secretly hoping since I ordered direct from Rockstar that maybe I'll get it a day or two before the official release. Unlikely, but wishful thinking.

I played so many hours with GTA5 I can't see myself playing it again on x1 or PC. Tho maybe I might get it on PC when some cool mods come out for it.

 

Received an email from Rockstar saying that my game should be in my hands by November 18th.

 

I have a copy reserved for X1. Looking forward to it.

 

After seeing the 1st person view I changed my mind and will be picking up the X1 version on Tuesday

 

Is the new game with 1st person view available on all systems or just the PS4/Xbox one? I have PS3 and wondered if the game was worth trying.

 

Only Xbone and PS4. I wont spend another 60$ to do 1st person. It's cool, but not THAT cool. GTA 6, sure.

I heard, but haven't confirmed that you can port over your 360/ PS3 character into Xbone/ PS4 version.

 

I believe it has been confirmed that you can transfer and continue where you left off.
