Here's another pf coupe artifact on on ebay, possibly belonging to 1373GT, which records show as having a beige interior in "tutta pelle", making this particular panel leather-clad. The cars that were noted as "pelle & plastico", like 1175GT discussed above, this panel would be covered in vinyl. Thanks.

    Ebay ad description and pictures:
... leather over board. This is an original OEM piece. Acquired from a friend who parted out early Ferraris.... Marked with "165", which is most likely the Pinin Farina build number.....

John, I think you mean chassis 1375GT, which is body no. 22165, with all leather Connolly "natural" 3309? Color certainly looks like 3309. Interesting original paint color for 1375GT, listed as "nocciola" MM16259 in the Pf records as published in the FML.

Chris, you are correct. Look at this typo on the record sheet, it fooled me. BTW, the Swiss website "Barchetta" suggests this car was a running car in Southern CA until the late 1990's, as advertised.

The website you mentioned is not Swiss.
It is from a country north of Switzerland.
    Sorry for splitting hairs.

1175 had a red interior when it was in my hands back in the day, and seemed original.

Thanks Ed, your comment on red interior jibes with what's on record, but the ebay ad shows body #91 (which is 1175GT) with beige interior. It's a mystery.

Very likely from 1749GT. Two digit chalk marks are only two last digits. It does not mean the leading number would be a zero.

Thank you. You do not have chassis numbers and other Ferrari Zoute Rallye 2014?

A question to folks with knowledge of original Series I cars... should these tubes be wrinkle black or nickel plated. A few original shots I've seen suggest painted, but wanted to get a consensus. Thank you in advance...

John: Take a look at page 34 of the June 1960 issue of Road & Track magazine. This car is very close to 1381 by chassis number. It has a nickel plated main pipe and black colored steam tubes.

Thanks, Dyke. Was there a point in the production run where they switched to paint?

All three of mine are nickel plated. The pipe that runs under the headers on the right side is also plated. The plating is old enough that I believe it is original.

    Cheers Jim

John: My speculation is that the later you go, the more likely the pipes are painted. Ferrari, like any other business, was always partially controlled by the accountants. It is cheaper to paint a pipe than it is to plate it. The early 250's have lots of nickel plated parts all over the car. By the time of the GTE's, the amount of plating is much reduced.

Thanks Dyke. I suppose either way would do with these cars.
Right about the accountants, I noticed the front spring buckets are painted in the 60's cars, plated in the 50's.

    Hi Guys
Here it is 1121 GT and it is in a lot better shape than these pictures show . I used to drive from New Hampshire to Lime Rock, Conn. race track , race it and drive back to N.H.
It was never a race car ,but it was a lot of fun. Unfortunatly at the moment it has a blown head gasket . It leaks to the outside rather than leaking internally . Looking for three stud gaskets.
    cheers lew

    Hi Guys
I have owned 1121GT for many years and she is in great shape. I raced her in vintage races at Lime Rock Conn.,Bridgehampton,Mt Equinox Hill Climb and at Loudon, N.H. In those days I usually just drove to the races , raced and drove her home. It never failed me except I broke some rear wheel spokes and had to with draw from one race .It was bought in Michigan and driven home to N.H. I now live in California.
