Just when you think your in the clear, Ferrari pulls me in again! (Godfather reference). I was not even looking for another Ferrari as I already drive a 2000 456 M GT, but when you least expect it a car comes along and you have to decide to pull the trigger or not. I got a call from my local dealer and he has a 1989 Giallo (Fly Yellow) 328 GTS. I have always been a fan of the 308/328 series but had my 456 M GT. After seeing the car and having done the PPS I bought it. Here are the details. 1989 Ferrari 328 GTS, 31,345 miles. Giallo FER 102 paint, June 1989 build, all original except stereo system. Full documents, service records since first owner (1 of 3). I make 4 owners. Drives great and is very tight. PPI showed a few small issues and I will start with fresh service for my own peace of mind. Tires are recent Michelins, tools and books coming from last owner. Please find pictures of todays events. Thanks to this forum and Ferrari Chat.

I had a yellow 89 328GTS..I wonder if thats my old car?..I did the 7,500 mile service at Algar..I believe mine was built in June..I think you have my old car!!
4respy, I am glad to hear from you! Do you have any paperwork left over from your ownership? There are very few Fly Yellow 328 cars out there. Let me know.
Rifledriver, do you know if the owner is on the forum? I'd love to share the special color order to ferrari with him. It was not a standard color option i'm told, but who knows? Thanks.
It was a standard color and there were actually quite a few painted that way, most with black interior but a few with tan. I have no idea who owns the other.
Thanks, I am getting some items together for the service and other bits, should be driving by weekend!
If you're in Palm Beach let's go for a run together. A yellow GTS and a red GTB will be a rare sight indeed.
Is that the aluminum car with the 288 GTO seats (My third favorite car in the world behind 4293GT and 4891GT)? Stu
Oh wow. Congratulations. Yellow just looks fantastic on a 308/328. Let me know if you ever want to sell it.
Well, since it is 81904, at least you do not have to look too far to cross-check its complete history...it is a well known car: 1989 Ferrari 328 GTS Serial Number 81904 - history page And, by the way, as Brian said, yellow is: "rare, but not very rare" on 328s, especially during the last year of production. Rgds
I was in Palm Beach on Saturday, and saw your car parked out in front of Testa's restaurant on Royal Ponciana Way. The car looks great in yellow.
