I found an owners manual pouch of a 1984 Ferrari 400i with everything in it, at an art show in Urbana, OH last weekend. Does anyone know if #52385 is still around. Jan Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Indeed. I'm off taking one of my daughters to volleyball camp in PA but will check my database when I get back in a few days.
I don't know who the owner is, but according to Dave's database (an older version) it was last for sale in July 2002 by Exoticars of Pittsburg. It is a dark grey/tobacco auto. Aidan
It sure would be nice if this pouch ends up with the owner of this car. I hope this site will get to him/her. Thanks for all the efforts. Jan
I have several entries of this car for sale from 1998-2002, all in the Pittsburgh area. No entries since the offer by Exoticars in Pittsburgh in 2002. At the time, they said that they had maintained the car for 5 years. Since they still seem to be in business, maybe they can help out with who bought the car from them. http://www.exoticars.com/index.php
Thanks Aidan, I contacted them but they couldn't help me with any info on the where abouts of this car. Jan
Did this find it's way to the original car? If not, and you'd consider parting with it to another 400 owner, who is missing his manual pouch, I'd be grateful if you could pm me. regards, Ray.
So Sarasota, FL area, right? Perhaps the organizers of the show or even FML has the name of the owner.
I still have the pouch with everything in it. Good to hear the car showed up. Next thing is to reunite the pouch with the car
Not sure if you still have the pouch & manual, but I am restoring this car and plan on taking it to shows, so I would be very interested in purchasing it. Thanks
Wow that is a cool story. Hope he still has it and will respond to you. Please post pics of the car VIN for the story. F-chat is great!
David, what is that tag? Was this added when they import the car? Never seen this before. But I know nothing about the 400s.
I thought you had the original car of the books. I just realized the VIN is different. Sorry for all my excitment :-( The color got me thinking when I saw the red instead of grey.

It's a first for me to see a wood cover on the trans. tunnel in a Series 2 car. Gold trophy winner with no engine pix hmmmm...
It looks like a thin fake wood applique material. Hadn't noticed that "improvement"! As always, these cars have stories on top of stories on top of other stories sometimes and a careful buyer will look beneath the surface to try to discover what any given car has gone through during the last 24-41 years.
