But....you would need to spend at least $20K getting it road worthy, if you wanted to drive it. All the rubber bits would need to be replaced, a major service, etc, etc, etc....

    Very true.
Be interesting to hear of the service record/maintenance. Not much mentioned about that.

    Nice, and worth watching...

The suspension might need a tending to as well, but no big deal.

With 21 years under its belt - - and virtually no experience on the road, this poor, albeit beautiful coupe, has no idea what the word: "suspension" means.

This car is like NOS !!

    Cheers,

    Hank

It's sad to say, but this one needs to be preserved.

It's against all my own rules about having cars, but 3k kms... that's uhm like showroom new.
    Keep her that way.

What could cause the suspension to be 'high' in the front?

Well, if you could get it federalized, it would be a one off rarity in NA as all valeos were cabriolets as well as LHD

Wild guess, the car was stored on jacks (weight off wheels) and the front shocks are binding.

I actually would not mind and buy it for 22.000 GBP. A Valeo was my fist choice, but these are very rare on continental Europe and none to be found when I was searching :(

I pity the guy who buys it as he probably will not know what he will need to do to get this on the road again.

They could have adjusted the shocks manually. there is ringnut that you can adjust (not talking about the adjustable suspension) speedramps in UK can be horrible high as in NL

Same auction, 328 GTS with under 200km and 348TB with under 600.
All Rosso with crema, one owner cars - someone's obviously having a garage clear out (a little more impressive than my last one of dead spiders and old paint pots).
How could you possibly have those 3 in your garage for 20 plus years and not drive them!?

Yes, bad choice of words on my part (over-simplification). Maybe an internal valving issue.

Or, shocks were replaced with the wrong ones.

    Still guessing... :)

Nice, thanks for posting. From the vid the car looks brand new. Notice the seat belts.

BTW, most of the comments are about Harry... which is pretty peculiar if you ask me.
