Wow! These original ones don't come up very often! Can you have barn find wheels? LOL! Ferrari 365GTB 4 Daytona BB512 Cromodora 9x15" Rear Wheel 109193 Pair | eBay
Starting at $8000 though! Now that deserves another WOW. He is also selling a used set $6900 and repro's as well $3900
read the ad-he clearly states that these are reproduction I recently saw a set of FACTORY thin wall 9" BB/LM365 wheels...easily worth 50K Authentic period racing parts have become as expensive as cars themselves were in the early 1980s! Anyone tried to buy a genuine set of 38DCNs with mag manifolds? anyone SEEN any in the last 20 yrs? they were a 150K USD 5 years ago..... THESE wheels are most likely from techno-magnesio in italy-they own the only operational mag foundry in italy, the old Campagnolo facility I'm told..
Not sure where you have seen he says they are repro's. Here is the text :-Here is a rare opportunity to obtain one PAIR of NOS Cromodora wheels still in the box. These measure 9x15" and were optional rear wheels for 365GTB/4 Daytona, 365GT4/BB and BB512. Original part number was 700638 but superseded to 109193. These wheels are absolutely spectacular and come with splined hub and trim ring. Don't delay as these won't last long! Buyer pays actual shipping costs. Each wheel is in a box measuring 23" x 22" x 12" weighing about 25 lbs. I have never seen any repro's which have the words," Ferrari" and "Cromodora" cast in them. Looking at his adds, he was selling two set of genuine wheels and one set of the repro's. It looks like he has now sold both sets of genuine wheels.
Wow that makes my Daytona wheels & Tyres seem cheap. Even Borrani's are cheaper than that. Correct me if I'm wrong but originally Daytona's came out on 7.5" wheels with 215/70VR15 Michelin XWX It has been suggested that some of the earliest cars might have fitted 205VR15 Pirelli Cinturato Also I'm under the impression that they only started fitting 225/70VR15 rear's when the 365BB came out. Do you know if that is correct?
