Hey all, I'm new to this thread.....

I bought a Ferrari watch on ebay back in december as a big F U to certain exes (obviously not stating the fact that it was ebay i purchased it from) But during my drunken state i have broken it i managed to get the glass replaced, so there's no scratches now, but when i went to my local watch and jewellery store, they said this watch isn't one that would be able to fix and would have to send it off to Switzerland... is that right...

I have been trying to find out the model / serial number so i can add it to my insurance, but there's no engravings... can you guys help...

If you can send photos of the watch with the back removed so the movement is visible I can probably tell you what you have. If it is mechanical it is most likely an ETA movement. These can be purchased new and the movement replaced. Not a difficult job.

No engravings = not even a rip off.
    Toss it.
    Move on.

Your ex seems to be on the ball.
See if she'll take you back.

I am very confused. Not sure how this watch is an FU to anyone, but thats none of my business.

As for the repair, it looks like a generic, Chinese, un-licensed, watch, so some parts may be hard to match. Also, probably not worth the cost of repair, maybe just buy a new one?

No idea who would have told you to send it to overseas, but I suspect you need a new watch repair facility.

I was told by Fraser hart that it would need to be sent to Switzerland to be repaired
