Thanks Don. Excited to make the run . Jon in Delaware
The long range forecast shows rain showers. I better get the VooDoo guy ready in case the forecast doesn't change on its own. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Don, you're 9 days out. I wouldn't worry about VooDoo Guy until this time next week if they're forecasting rain. This Saturday looks to be crappy however, and I have (or had...) my first show of the season planned.
Well I suckered...er....persuaded Roy Blumberg from C&C to navigate for me, so add a +1 for me, please. Am I correct that the 27 Heather Road is the gathering place? Thanks for all your efforts! Paul

Adding +1 (Don S/Cobraownr). Not sure if it will be human, canine, or I will just stop the split personality meds for a few days. The List: 01. Don B 02. Bob C +1 03. Mondialmerle 04. VGM911 +1 05. I can't do the run either, but I'll be at C&C briefly before I have to head down to Delaware. On edit: I may actually not have time, but I'm sure there will be some regular crew at C&C.
Unfortunately, I tore my rotator cuff a few days ago and sitting in a car for any extended period of time just about kills me. I am going to make it to the starting line to see everyone off and check out Don's place, but I am not going to be able to do the drive. Sorry guys….
Joe, I'm just coming out on the positive end of physical therapy/cortisone injections for a torn muscle and ligament in my shoulder. Feels great now. I'm just letting you know this because I desperately did not want surgery and it worked out that I won't need it. Good luck and I wish you a swift recovery. Have fun on the drive, guys. I'll be not thinking of you from the cheap seats at the final four.
Sorry to hear that Joe, hope you feel better soon. I guess you may need someone to drive the TR for you at some point? Don't worry, I'd be reasonably gentle with her!
Did you tear your rotator cuff turning the start crank on the MGB? Or possible dodging flying wrenches from Jay who at this stage of restoration must be more than a little testie? Image Unavailable, Please Login
We all know what you were rotating when you tore your cuff Joe, but from what I've heard it shouldn't have taken you much muscle.. Sorry to hear that buddy. After what I recently went through I don't wish injury on anyone. Get well soon. The pix of the MG look great. I heard first hand it's really nice.
The FIOS box in the basement went MIA this afternoon. No Internet, cable TV (not much loss with that, though). Tech is scheduled to visit 8:00 a.m. to noon tomorrow, so there goes The Spring Drive. Drat! Was looking forward to catching up with the group after this miserable winter. Hope everyone has a safe and fun drive. Don, thanks for the planning. Sorry that I can't make it. Don S. Haha! Regarding my shoulder, I don't want to overstate my injury. It is really relatively minor, but thanks for the well wishes.
Wait a minute....you're choosing FIOS over an activity with your C&C/FChat friends??????? Can't FIOS be fixed another day? Please reconsider!! A torn rotator cuff is a legitimate reason to skip this event....FIOS is not.
Don, thanks so much for putting this run together. I had a great time . You do such a great job of bringing this group together.
Just got home. Had a great time, even though I keep making a wrong turn! I think we made the same wrong turn last year too. Thanks again for organizing. Good thing I don't have anything to do tomorrow, can't believe how filthy the cars got!
Thanks Don, a great drive, a beautiful day, good food, impressive workshop, and (as always) a devil of a time keeping up with you! Also thanks Roy, for putting up with my driving.
