    Hi folks,

I need a mechanic/workshop I can rely on that is near or preferably in Connecticut. The vehicle is a 1990 Testarossa. Someone recommended Bill Pollard. I have searched FChat and reviews were OK.

I have also been told that for a dealership, Miller Ferrari is OK. Not sure what exactly 'OK' means, especially relative to an older F car.

Not sure who else is reliable OR 'stay away from' in the area, so please share insights.

If any feedback is less than flattering, feel free to PM me and it will stay in confidence. I would simply like to avoid poor workshops based on someone else's experience rather than go through an unnecessary learning curve.

    Thanks
    Vincent

Jim Magee. Pocono Sportscar in Pa. Should not be to far but he is my top tier mechanic hands down. Travel a bit actually not too bad but you'll get the best.

Miller is very good. John Henkel is a terrific advisor and they have a very good technician that works on older Ferraris.

These are the guys most recommended to me and are more reasonable on price:
    Wecome to auto turismo sport

From 20 years of owner ship experience I would have to currently recomend Millers, speak with John and have Lee work on your car. A bit pricey, but it gets done right and the car is treated well while there, also it does not need doing twice, in which case it costs less..For some Millers is just close and conveniant too.

I have not sent my car to David, so cant comment firsthand but he seems very knowledgeable.

If it were to be a lot of work, like an EO and full sorting and suspesion and brakes etc then its worth sending the car to Newman.

if you are just doign basic servicing and maybe an EO speak with millers.

Bill Pollard is a very knowledgeable tech, especially on the TR's- no need to drive to PA when you have a great resource right in your backyard.
