Thinking of selling my 02 ferrari 360 spider f1 with 20k miles. It's red with black top and black interior. Has 20" chrome and color matched GFG wheels, color matched door panel plates, console, and f1 paddles. Has carbon radio bezel. Within last 500 miles I had
Competizione do full 30k service with timing belts as well as new clutch. Over $10k in service. Also in last 500 miles I installed level 3 Capristo exhaust, full front 3M clear bra, and rear challenge grill. I have a tubi and painted taillight panel to go with car. Competizione service was done just a few months ago. It's a 100% no excuses car other than the a/c knobs are sticky. Clean car, no paintwork, no lights, everything works.

What do you think I should ask for a fairly quick sale?

I would think you could go to cars.com and sort the results to see the comps for your car.

Then decide on where you want to be based on mileage/condition/location. If there is a buyer out there they will find you.

You're in luck, I needed to try out my new version of Excel!!!! Here is the price mileage data from Cars.com for all the spiders. This should help. GLWS ( EDIT: I know its bit blurry, I am going to keep messing with that for a few) EDIT #2 The pdf is much clearer :)

Put "standard" Ferrari wheels on it. Those wheels will detract from the price IMHO. $80-85 would be my guess..

...$75k-80 ... 430 wheels would help more than starfish wheels

I wouldn't say retarded because they look good on other models ...19 challenge or 430 differently look very good

It does not matter what you think but what potential buyers think. You have received some good advice here, put the stock wheels on and sell the others or offer them as an option to the new buyer.

Also, what are the extent of the interior customizations? That may also hurt on resale. I see mentioning of color coded door panels and center console - red? It may pay off to replace with stock parts.

Couple of items will improve pricing or at least how easy to sell is. My opinion is ...
    Challenge wheels / 430 wheels
    Challenge grill

Everything else could instead ending up hurting the value ...

you almost always get more money back by reverse all mods and sell them separately.

Surprised how much people seem to dislike the stock 360 wheels. They look fine to me.

I'm not surprised that others don't like them. Many seem to like a more customized look.

Personally I find the look perfect for the car.. although the 430 rims come close.

You've put a lot of money into the car and it will be tough to recoup that cost.

Most buyers will want things stock (other than exhaust). Plus they'll want shields, painted calipers, etc.

In its current condition, I'm guessing $80k to $90k.

Keep the car and enjoy it.

    Great looking car.

I agree with most members here, I am not a big fan of those wheels either. Chrome wheels has been out of style for a long time now...... I too recommend installing the original wheels back on and leave the rest with the car.

I am in the market for one but not ready to buy yet, still saving money.....

Can you post more photos of the car please? Interior shots especially. Thanks.

    Dan
