Actually, my F430 spider, my 91 Alfa spider, and my 74 X 1/9. But not to the point of wanting them back. I'd like my Dino back for what it brings today! But, I don't miss it. I'd rather move forward, not backward. There's always something new and exciting out there. You only go around once.
The only one I would buy back would be my first car, a 1989 Toyota pickup that looked like the back to the future truck. Ours was a couple years newer than the movie truck. The girl who owned it after me totaled it. I plan on building a modern interpretation of the truck once I'm done with grad school.
The car I miss the most would be my '94 Mazda RX-7. I also miss my '03 MINI Cooper S that I had done a full JCW upgrade too.
I had to look at my list of past cars to see which one I miss, which is telling. Though there are no cars I really would like to own again, there are vehicles that I would like to drive/ride and rekindle good memories: 69 911 track car, 83 911SC cab, Ducati 851, 190E Cosworth. The cars that I would miss if I sold are my 328GTS and Rothmans 944. This is why I still have them.
1960 MGA 1600; completely underpowered, even w/ a B ported & polished head; but with the skinny tires, you could induce a drift at 35mph! Pretty much certain death if you got hit by anything modern. Image Unavailable, Please Login
IMO. The only muscle car that came out of Italy. If you've driven/owned one you'd know. The only car I'd pay the buyer more to have back. Grrr Image Unavailable, Please Login
8 years trouble free, 400 hp a wonderful cruiser. These are on the market today for 17 - 20k Image Unavailable, Please Login
I miss my truck from time to time. Received it as a surprise from my parents in June of 1999 as an early graduation present. Drove it my Senior year of high school until I sold it in in 2006. Lots of good times. Wish I had photos on my computer of the day I got it. I need to find and scan those. Nice cars. After lurking on the forum I am starting to really miss my 348ts. It was a great car which I really enjoyed driving
My 1995 m3 - first car i took to the drag strip, the autox, and a real road course. Amazing drive. Forgiving handling that made even a novice driver look like a hero. 2003 x5 - the estoril blue and stock 20" heels turned heads left and right and every passenger i had felt at home inside. Surprising how many women loved the car too.
I miss this car, not because it was an incredible car or anything, but more for the sentimental reason that it was my first car. I learned a lot while driving this monster through snowy Ohio winters with A/S tires. Just had a lot of fond memories of this car. Probably would still have it if the second pic hadn't happened to it... (catastrophic engine fire due to leaking power steering fluid making contact with a hot exhaust manifold - total loss obviously) I also kinda miss my BMW M3 convertible, but now that I have my 360 Spider, that happens a whole lot less! I had the M3 during my college days, and it was a perfect car for those times! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
