Edward Park! Is this what they taught you in med school ethics? You are a very mean and naughty Surgeon! You have everyone all whipped up. In Jeopardy format: "What is: Calling BS on this one" the correct answer? Don't be fooled by his antics. Eddie is in this one for the long haul...I can't imagine him growing tired of his WHITE 16M for at least a month!
Sorry, for the Terrible joke.....you all know me too well and I NEED the rawness of the Scud. Really would never trade the 16M for a 458 (at least not this early). BUT Cam, thanks for planting the seed in me....oh this is how the disease progresses. Kind of cruel to put a 458 in my driveway this early
Why is it(16M) on CNCs E-Bay..????????????????????? Grigio Titano?? Looks real good and really shows off the lines of the 458. I agree with some others to get the 5 spoke 458/16M wheels. Cam, just sell it back to Eric as hes looking again.
Jim I did want to thank you for shipping the Exige. I called a LOT of shipping companies and ended up with a great transport. Very professional and the driver came exactly in time - even when I requested a half hour earlier. All if the cars in the truck were covered and ratcheted down securely. My driver seat had plastic on it. The driver was very polite. Ill definitely use Intercity again in the future.
I thought it was strange when the seller of the white 16M you bought immediately went to buy another of the same. Must be something with that 16M WTB: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/ferraris/417148-16m-scuderia.html
I have a question. When they both arrived, which did you want to drive first? That's gotta be a hard decision!
Wow, Ross, this is a tough question to answer. On the day of the deliveries, I was certainly more excited about the 16M since I hadn't driven a Scud before. When I drove it for a quick spin, I was blown away. It really is almost too much for the street - probably 5/10ths of its potential. My comparisons of the S260 and 16M are this: My first passion is with Lotus, as it is what got me into racing. These British cars are quirky, but Nothing beats the visceral feel of a Lotus. It is a Real driver's car and nothing feels more connected to the road as this production street car. Colin Chapman was a genius in his philosophy of "add lightness." No other marque practices this art anymore (even modern Lotus). The magic in the Lotus is cornering. It is so direct and instantaneous, that is what makes my adrenaline flow. 300 HP pushing 2000 lbs is roller coaster fun too. This toy makes daily driving to work an absolutely joy - I enjoy crawling into the Spartan cockpit with briefcase and tie and harnessing up. 6 speed manual and heel-toeing to work is a lost art as well. Both cars are around 0-60 in about 3.7 sec. Segue way to Ferrari... Now the 16M is on a different planet. The F1 technology with super fast shifts is enthralling for a racer. I can't believe how quickly the RPM's rev up. The car feels like it's going to fly - that rawness is again what I enjoy (No DCT for me please). Steering is direct, but everything on the Ferrari is bigger, not as tight, so turning radius is larger. The 16M to me is such a special car, because it is blazing speed that is Not insulated. And with top down, everything is magnified. At the end of the day, I have to decide if I want to jump into a thrilling toy or a menacing machine full of fervor. Both are such passionate cars.
