I would certainly revise the calculation on these as in CDN that equals $260 - $285k pre tax/duties. This does not include the duties and/or the time you spend to see/ship the vehicle to Canada. Factor in the depreciation vs a Canadian vehicle and the spread is a lot closer than you may think.

Some items are well worth the trip south of the border while others are not so much.

I agree with your calculations. However, just remember that most of the prices in the US are "asking" prices at $260 K. I'm sure if you haggle them a bit, you can pick it up for
$240. That $20k savings is your import and duties right off the top.

Was out for dinner in Kleinburg visiting my parents last nite...

As usual the assortment of Ferrari's was amazing. In the pic you can see the 458 Spyder, along with a brand new black F12. Missing from view is another red 458 coupe, and also another white 458 coupe which drove by and parked further downroads. So in the span of 1 hour there were x3 458's and 1 F12. Not to mention a few Maserati Gran Turismos which cruised by.

Nice, lemme guess...that F12 belongs to the local MP? :)

Kleinburg is nice, I'm surprised no one has spotted the grey Superleggera i sold to a local guy...

I'll be there this weekend, hope to see some nice cars.

Vasco, I'm pretty sure the F12 is owned by the local MP, the mail man drives a 599, and the school principal has a 430 Scud LOL...:D

If you go to Kleinburg make sure you check out Avenue Restaurant (its pretty much the only restaurant there)! Amazing Italian food and good for people watching. (aka hot chicks..)!

And yes, you will probably see a fair share of F and L cars.

Spotted this Mclaren Spider at my bank today...

Also followed an incredibly good sounding silver Ferrari 360 Modena being driven "spiritedly" along Wellington St in Barrie last night (sorry no pic of it, he was travelling a bit too fast).

Saw Drake downtown in King St. traffic driving in his Veyron Sang Noir. His entourage was in a white RR Phantom behind him and security in two Escaldes. $2mil cruising downtown on a party weekend... Quite a sight.

Yes I saw that restaurant. It's a beautiful little town. I was there at The Doctors house to celebrate an old friends wedding. Saw some nice metal on the streets like a bright red Gallardo coupe, red 458 spider, red 355 spider, a red 360 spoder, red 430 spider and a blacked out FF (Friday). Sorry no pics.

How do I get the pictures to show up on the thread instead of just the links?

All original, the wheels are identical to the F40 though, although I don't think the rears are as deep as the F40's.
