Harold.... What can I say? Didn't know that the Diablo SV left such an impression with you ^^ I'm actually looking @ a black Countach for sale now to pair it with but unfortunately overspent on some watches lately. One which is a late 1950s Breitling Navitimer AOPA that sits on my wrist now & the near mint, unmolested condition is like a barn find. It arrived fresh from New York yesterday & I had a similar one in poorer condition some 15yrs ago which was 400% cheaper Now, this won't win any gal's heart but it sure beats any modern Breitlings & worth as much as a similar period Calatrava. Back to the Countach, it'll come one day but as a custodian I'll have to wait or as some bros recommend save up for the F40! Perhaps the Alpine car which graced our walls are better kept as memories? Here's a good read which I just found: Ferrari Testarossa vs. Lamborghini Countach - Motor Trend Perhaps I should buy the Testarossa again. The first car that i did 170mph with & it was 16yrs old, not the fastest but it was memorable Image Unavailable, Please Login
That Navitimer looks sick Jon, very nice! And at first glance, I read it as you were 16 doing 170mph!
Jon that navitimer is gorgeous! What a find... a keeper! You sure it's not a made in china version... Hahaha. Kidding. They wouldn't know to copy this! A lusso for the wrist.
F12? Lame lah... Need to buy this if you want to be ahead of your next door neighbors..... or a car in the same color at least... Ok... Must get the owner out during the day next time. This thing looks insane on the roads. One of the few modern cars that genuinely will have people stop dead in their tracks. Must say it still doesn't wreak of class like a classic Ferrari but if you wanna be howlian... Well for the moment nothing comes close on this little island state. MP and Jon you were missed. Friggin Dennis only met me at 10.30PM in the end... The exact opposite of what I told him... Which was 10.30AM! LP570-4 is far more user friendly and can be a daily driver except for the stupid hard suspension, which you can change to KW adjustables to make a bit better. Power is on a different level compared to the Scud. But e Scud is more special. You will always find a home for the Scud when the time comes to sell. Forget about Lambo, once you own it prepare to be buried in it. Too many, too common, and new model around the corner. Ask me how I know.
The JDM crowd still have a stick shoved up their behind sometimes... A blue GTR saw us and had to flat tack his R35 directly in front of us. What's he trying to prove. Yawn. I would still take a Zonda over the agera. More refined. The engine and exhaust noise was ridiculous inside the cabin. Need ear plugs. Seriously. But it's ok think the owner is deaf already.
Haha you damn cocky you know but that's how we like you ^^) Dennis said it's not too big but wonder how much blindspots does it have. It's like a space ship & look @ the LCD panel but I'd have to agree, the Pagani even the Huayra is just a tad more elegant. Wonder if anyone would still register theirs over here by now Will do a late night meet up again mate, this guy's an owl.
Bad experiences with ricers dime a dozen... he thinks his r35 can zhng supercars cannot zhng. Someone shld show him what tuned supercars are made of. Wahahaa.
helloooooo ... after OVER 30 years of marriage, "thin ice" means squat ... i'm now THICK SKINNED ... hehehehehe ...
not on public roads bro ... let the ricers self destruct ... just stay calm and out of their way ... or they can bring their candy asses to sepang ... and hv a go for real ... man to man ...
