    I recall when you were looking for a second roof in the early 1990's and said you painted it checkerboard. Very correct for 1970's! Might look better in Verde Germoglio

    PS - you better tell this crowd that is the second roof and that original is VERY stock or you'll give the purists here a coronary!

    scott, good memory ! i was very surprised that the second roof panel actually fit my dino , latches lined up etc. considering the handbuilt manufacture of the dino ! great pictures of your weekend trip . is that mark's dino you are in ? or did you acquire a 3rd red spider ? [ no campy wheels ] DZ

    keith, definitely inspired by vasarely ! my favorite artist , a highlight of a recent trip to europe was the vasarely museum in aix en provence [southern france]. porsche used a similar design on seat inserts in early 928s. hope you were able to drive the dino this past weekend, might be a while before we get sun again ! DZ

    I recall the checkboard upholstery on Porsche 924's when they first came out - my eyes, my eyes!

    No, its my Dino - but with a spare set of wheels and the new Vredstein tires that DM turned us onto - Very nice tires at under half the price as the Michelin XWX's.

    BTW, rumor has it that Mark might be selling his award winning Dino...

    We had our Dino out at the Little Italy event tonight (Monday 10/15/2007) at Shilshole. We had a great time - 24 wineries + 10 or 15 restaurants. Missed you all - so what if it drizzled a little? Gary R had his BBi 512 out, as did Gary #2 (?) with his yellow 308. They parked us right at the entrance.

    And Danny, I want to get a second top with Escher graphics -- can you find me one?

    It's funny, just an internet find. I converted it to red colours to make it more like the original post of the roof but then it didn't "work" anymore.
