Your place is sick!... The ultimate home...damn I wish I could find a place like that!!... Will post some pics of boxer as soon as I figure out how to take from my photos section to fchat... How do you post your pictures?... Looks like you've had a Lot of " action " on that matters... Come to think of it mine looks like that too
One of the most creative garages I have seen to date. I applaud your creativity and drive to retain the originality of the place while dramatically transforming it.
Really bustin nuts now, garage loaded and needs organizing, but two of the three beauties are in...the view through the window, needs sorting down there, but it is pretty effin' sick!! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Aloha Mike. Your missing an important detail in the ultimate man cave, a stripper pole . Otherwise your place rocks!
....shoulda made one next to the stairwell....hmmmmm...lol I've slept the past 3 nights in the cabin and it is beyond belief! I seriously put in about 110 HARD hours myself, deep cleanings as final work was done, the result was worth it. Due to my insane inability to sell anything, I still have too much (George Carlin STUFF), so after preparing for 3 cars in the garage, gonna have to start out with only 2 ....but as soon as some of you guys wise up and buy some of my cool shizzle, I can move another car inside I will try and post photos, but somehow Starbucks coffee found its way inside my iPhone today and the dang thing isn't working Had a nice group of fresh photos that may have sizzled away when I fried my phone....aaaaaarrrrrrggggghhhhh.
Still dealing with tech gremlins :/ But did get this shot....from bedroom looking down on fender, 30+ feet down... Image Unavailable, Please Login
some fresh pics....I am really enjoying living here, absolute magical place! inside the garage where my Alfa wheel obsession lives Instead of 3 cars in the garage, I went with two so I could add a desk and chairs, workout bench, loads of extra storage shelves, 2nd bedroom literally (armoire, dresser, car library )...I will go to 3 cars as winter approaches and I sell some 'stuff'. In the living area, I am keeping it clean and simple, excess can go in the garage which begs for organization still, I'm beat from a very labor intensive move. As soon as I sell this gorgeous black 930, I am gonna blow out this property with further finishing, landscaping, etc. Sorry to see the super cars go, but Alfa's bring me plenty of joy...especially nice around scenic mountain twisties of Tahoe... Turning out awesome. I like the views through the floor. And are you sure junk doesn't go in the garage and cars outside? Maybe I'm doing it wrong.
no kidding, huh...thanks for pointing out the obvious. It's temporary. garage still housing the pampered babies... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Once I get a shed built, I can finally have my garage back. But my truck doesn't fit anyway... You've done an awesome job with what you started with. And the views are amazing.
Hi Mike, Where, in Tahoe, are you ? I had a little place in Cedar Flat on the No. Shore back in the mid 70s. It was my 3 1/2 year vacation from the film industry (till the $ ran out), and it was pure heaven for that period. As I was moving back to Hollywood Land, my parents were finishing their home in Incline Village. It was a great place for their grown kid and his wife, to come for "mom's home cooked meals". But, back to the point of this thread - - I love the work that you're doing on your A Frame Home/Man Cave Garage. Sore point - No garage - we sometimes had so much snow on our cars, we didn't know which car was which !! As for your 1" thick "snoop window", I love the idea !! Keep up the great work. Best of luck with the project. Cheers, Hank
Aloha Hank, nice note, thanks. I am in Brockway, due north, between Crystal Bay and Kings Beach. (2 blocks up from the casinos on north shore is the easiest reference point). I spent 20 years in Incline Village, so chances are we know each other...small place. I never had a garage here in Tahoe all this time, was always renting space for all my cars scattered all over the place,, so having a garage is absolute heaven. Living here has been nothing short of magical....looking out on another sick sunset over the lake right now These last 2 photos are from Speedboat Beach...my "home' beach, short walk from my cabin.
