    Dear Paul
Its great to have the likes of yourself looking and noting the cars as they turn up. Lets see how we get on with this 400GT RHD list and I will update as we go. Will appreciate any amendment's or corrections as we go.
    Regards
    Alastair

The 400s were not the only cars in that period to come our with some "different" paint colors. I probably would have bought the Maserati Quadroporte if the have some more colors to select from. Jq.

    Hi Guys,

You can add to the list of survivors my 1979 400 GT, RHD, manual. 20100 miles.
Chassis no: F101CL25425. Engine no: 25425

Bought it in 2010, been having it gradually restored by an excellent ex-Ferrari mechanic. Engine just needed tuning (carbs). Gearbox very sound. Resprayed (with original medium blue colour). Interior been tidied up (new cream leather for drivers seat), and rest of leather restored. Body needed some work. Not concourse (not financially viable against return), but now looks like a well-cared for classic car. Sailed through its MOT.

Took it on its virgin voyage last week. Having bought the car as an investment, now strongle tempted to keep and use!

Intend to enjoy for a few months, then sell.

    Wow fantastic
Photos please! I meant to update the list so will do soon its small though check back.

One problem with this thread is people keep mistaking this thread for other cars existence ie thread was only for 400GT manual gearbox and right hand drive versions.

Hope you have a great time with yours and by the way your car IS but one of a very very small number.
    Regards
    Alastair

Welcome Jerry - us 400 owners are a lovely bunch (even us mere mortals with auto boxes).

Not like those horrid 400i and 412 owners - they're all total bastards !!

Coincidentally the same letter which is missing from both my cars !

Carbs forever.... and please do not forget the "Perfect Car Without 4's"... we owners of 365 (aka "The Original" or "Where Everything Began") tend to look at 400ers with some liking, but from an unbridgeable distance... we cannot understand how a decent life can be lived with only 4 rear lights... or with emissions accepatble to California...

The only car with emissions acceptable to California is a car that is never driven. Although this description fits many Ferraris, it definitely does not describe our 400s!

Baloney! Passing emissions in CA with a 400? Only if you crank the injector adjustment a full turn. Then watch the temp skyrocket.

As I smogly (Scottish for smug) sit here with my slightly out of tune webbers I can only dream of fuel injection or a wee bit smaller engined 365 it might save me but a dime or two off my huge petrol (Scottish for gasoline) bill!
    Salutations to all

Just a little update, the French car, 400GT RHD 27741 is now back in the UK, Rosso Nearco, a lovely metallic burgundy, UK registered BYK66T, I am led to believe this is the final 400 RHD produced. I also have a 365GT4 RHD in my collection amongst others.
