Not sure if somebody knew this. I just replaced the AC compressor of my 348 ts. In Europe it was quite hard to find a fitting one with the connectors not being on the back but on the top. The compressor of the Alfa 164 fits. The pulley is a bit bigger but just chose a longer belt and you are fine. Original Sanden.. paid 350 Euros instead of 2500...
Does anyone know where to get wind screen gasket for 348 or is there anything to replace the oem part? Usually it's sold with the window frame, but the cost is around 500 that's a bit too much for a piece of rubber if you already have a frame...
Check this out for the partial answer. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/technical-q/191675-hyper-technical-exposing-348-355-mondialt-bosch-maf.html?highlight=280+212+018 Cheers
Hi there - thanks for lin but it was reading that thread that made me ask! LOL SO any other pointers...
Replacement alternator parts for the Nippon Denso The parts are by Regitar (based in the USA) but after searching Regitars website I found their English distributor, a company called M J Rotating in the W. Midlands. 01543 360511. They had the Regitar parts in stock and posted them to France for me for a total of £59.94 including postage. Part no RN - 02 .....Rectifier Part no VR- H2005-4A .....Regulator (I didn't need new brushes) The new Rectifier has a smaller positive post than the original, so tap out the post on the old one and the new one with a hammer. Stick the old post in the freezer to make it smaller, then insert it into the new rectifier and screw the nut down onto the plastic casing. As you turn the nut it draws the splined post into the new rectifier.
I have this entire thread in a spreadsheet, right up to the minute, and will add to the spreadsheet as parts are added to this thread.

A '91-'95 Alfa Romeo 164 uses the same fuel pump vibration dampening sleeve as our 348s. Also know as a fuel pump rubber bushing. The Alfa part number is 60572049. $59 from these guys http://www.alfissimo.com/index.php?productID=815 They also use the same trianglular pad on the bottom of the pump cup, and that part number is 82404491. That is also know as the fuel pump basket bushing. $15 from the same guys http://www.alfissimo.com/index.php?productID=1194
I just received a big box of goodies today. The plan is to fully upgrade my Mondial t to the latest specs from the Uber Innovator, Dave Helms. This is going to take a while to implement as my car is currently in pieces in Reno, and will not get the full upgrade kit installed until after it gets *driven* to Portland where the master mechanic, short life, lives. Will report as progress is made... Oh yeah, for anyone who doubts that short is a master mechanic: in a day and a half he pulled my engine, sub frame and all. What's the big deal you might ask? He did it in my garage with my tools and with no lift!!!
The brake light switch is identical to the one from the Lancia Delta from the same build period. The same applies for the unit which holds the levers for the lights, windshield wiper etc. (not sure about the correct term in English).
I have some new OEM frame parts for the Ferrari F355 for sale. The parts were ordered in July 2007 so they are a bit dusty but new. I was just looking for this part for a friend of mine, and I noticed that nobody posted this info, so here it goes: Ferrari Part number: 147281 FUEL REGULATOR (3.8 BAR) Bosch Part number: 0 280 160 738 Standard Motor Products (more affordable aftermarket part) number: PR298 Attached are pictures of the Bosch part and the Standard Motor Products part Please note that this is the FPR that only a few 348s need, rated to 3.8 bar (most use the 3.0 bar FPR). This part was also used on the Mondial T. This part can be found here at US$ 58.00 + Shipping: http://www.amazon.com/Standard-Motor-Products-PR298-Regulator/dp/B001O7LVZQ Anyways, hope this was helpful. Hi, I am looking for 355 challenge rear wing, inner wheelarches, brembo-racing calipers front and rear. Thank you for help.
I found a 1.1 bar (16lbs/sq.in)radiator cap at AutoZone which fits my mondial T perfectly and it apparently also fits the 348. It is from Cooling Systems Technology, an Israeli company. It has been on my car for several weeks and in 94 degree temps without problems. They also have a 0.9bar available but I did not get the number. Image Unavailable, Please Login
After spending a lot of money for a new thermostat (see other thread) I found that it s a 20 $ part available in Germany everywhere... Ferrari Part# 165473 It is a Wahler 4255.82D - used in lots of Opels (opening temperature 82°): GENERAL MOTORS: 08 966 483,OPEL: 13 38 024,VAUXHALL: 13 38 024 Also it looks that it is the same as on every Porsche 924,944,968... Also the expansion valve is cheap to get - bought it for 40 Euros instead of 200 Euros... Ferrari Part# 154276 It is a Egelhof TCD2 with Number: 3 20 307 those are the measurements: Hoses side ø 5/8'' - 7/8'' FIO Evaporator side ø 3/4'' - 3/4'' FIO
An alternator from a Daewoo Lanos can easily be modified to fit - IMO it is also a stronger unit than the original.
